[Kogasa is surprisingly strong after all. In UFO she was EX-Midboss tier. I see Kogasa's power as so varied as part of her actual theme. She has some weak spellcards, and some really strong ones to surprise the foes who think she's a pushover. Kogasa likes using her easy spells then pulling out a big one just to see the look on her foe's faces! You saw some of Kogasa's weaker attacks in Rumia Quest 1 [And Reimu's seen most of her attacks too], so Kogasa just skipped right to the 'make everyone jawdrop'.

So yeah, while Kogasa is a cheerful moeblob who has one goal in life, she even incorporates that into her danmaku!]

- High Intellect, for a fairy. On par with smarter humans and youkai, although not on the level of characters such as Keine and above.
- Pretty powerful nonspells
- One spellcard: Leaves over the Misty Lake; it's a bit like Patchouli's Wood Sign spells in concept.
- Ability to calm emotions like anger and fear by making contact. Stronger emotions take longer to calm.
- Flight
- Fairy Immortailty

Note that Ran would have decided to fight you regardless of what you did [Hence why this is not listed as an optional boss], just for different reasons.

> Ability to lower temperature. This is usually used to freeze things. She can accelerate defrosting, but not actually instantly un-freeze things.

> Stronger versions of past spellcards. Basically the danmaku is thicker in all of them. She also has a couple of new spellcards:

> Ice Breaker: Frozen Mallet: Cirno creates a block of ice, and hits it with an ice mallet, sending ice shard danmaku flying randomly. After three hits, the ice block smashes and the fragments sent are larger and more numerous.

> Ice Sword: SubZero: Cirno, while sending out random spam of ice danmaku, will make a 'blade' of ice aimed at her target, which, in danmaku, takes the form of a freezeing blast that represents a blade of ice extending from her hand. The beam will then fade, and she'll quickly fire another one. A frantic dodgeing spellcard.

> Can create objects out of ice, to a limited degree. She can do this to be pretty dangerous at close range.

[Quick update on Mystcia Quest, it'll be back Tuesday. I have an exam Monday and I'd rather not plan out plotlines with an exam coming up. Enacting ones already planned like pretty much all of RQ4 unless there's a detour somewhere is different to MQ's 'as it goes along' style.']

> Sidenote: The spellcard rules do not allow one side to have three or more people fighting at the exact same time, simply because that would lead to unavoidable patterns. Otherwise you could just say 'everyone use strongest spell at once and own'. This only applies to spellcard users. If you're too weak to even have a spellcard then you don't count towards this limit, although that's generally just nameless fairies and rabbits, as well as humans.

[Example: Imperishable Night Border Team was actually Yukari, Reimu and Ran [As a weapon, but Ran shot too]. Ran didn't use Chen as well. The Primsrivers only came in three, and Miko didn't call Seiga and Yoshika to help her, only Futo and Soga. Swarms of fairies are using danmaku, but nonspells.]

> Chen manages to evade the worst of the danmaku, but gets caught out when you hurl your second orb towards her. It seems the cat's natural agilty is aiding her a lot in defense, but she's not getting much chance to go on the offense.
