>"Hm, tell me more about the situation?" says the woman,
>The child-sized faerie dashes into the woods, while the smaller one chasing her shouts, "That'll show you about putting snakes in the rice!"

>Look back to the pink-haired lady with a partially amused expression. "Snakes in the rice? Can't say I've ever seen that one be done before."

Got the blue-white on his trail after some more suspicious activity, and after she fired some warning shots at him, he flung a nasty-lookin' shuriken at her and escaped while she was recovering from the shock. Took the shuriken to a magician, who did whatever it is she did to it, and we saw a scene of the same guy talking to a woman with blue looped hair held together with some stick. They're trying to awaken a prince, whoever that is. Sounds like they're only a couple of hours off from it, so they need to be stopped soon."

>The woman straightens as you talk, frowning. "Do you know who this person is, or who this prince is? Or why the latter is important?"

I did, actually. Kinda forgot everything else in light of this.

>"Huh?" says the woman, but then you are gone.
>You fly after the sound  of the fleeing faerie. Thankfully, she is not nearly as fast as the farmer, or does she seem to be quite so good at endurance running.  While she soon falls silent, you are quickly able to locate her, resting against a tree. Upon seeing you approaching, she cries out again and starting running.

>You continue to follow, still closing some distance.

>While she is fleeing, you are confident you'll be able to catch up to her inevitably.

>There are maybe 5 yards between you and she now.

>You've closed nearly a yard on her now.

> A hat? Rules out mystery woman. Still, if it was someone that this fairy actually saw, then it probably wasn't the jeweer's assistant.

>"That weird girl with the mask!" says the faerie. You get the idea she's not really put her heart into escaping anymore, she's certainly slowing down.
>"Who are you shouting at, Luna!?" comes a voice up ahead.
