What is your favorite OST in the series?

Mine is MoF. I listen to all of the songs casually at some point. None of the other games do that.

Ten Desires, so underrated. Old Yuanshen is my favourite in the series, and other themes like Youkai Girl at the Gate (198th in popularity poll is bull) and Futatsuiwa from Sado make it my favourite game for OST.

It's between EoSD and PoDD. I think I'll say EoSD though, if only because it has a higher total number of songs.

SA, hands down. Literally every song except Yuugi's theme is very good, if not phenomenal (i.e. the entire second half of the game :V).

I've been starting to like the game a lot more recently. Maybe I'll like it as much as IN and UFO, both being close seconds.

I've always liked the title screen themes. They really put you in the mood to play Touhou, and they go really well with their respective games. Especially IN.

Imperishable Night takes the cake. I don't understand why I'm like the only one - everything sounds so good. In addition, I feel many of the songs are really effective in setting the appropriate atmosphere, like the Stage 1 music (so dark, really fits the "night" theme) or Stage 6 music (feels like I'm flying into space). Strangely this question feels like the hardest one for me.
Contenders are SA and PCB... Seems like my brain's too fried up to make a good choice here. I'll go for these two for now (maybe I'll edit this post when I've decided which one to choose).

PCB.

No other game manages to build tension as perfectly as this one, especially when you're entering Stage 5, you feel as if you just entered another world, and it's about to get serious. And Border of Life is the epitome of awesome! :derp:

But Mof is reeeeeally close behind.
I generally listen to every of the soundtracks outside of the game, but the one I listen to the least is probably UFO, don't know why...

Yuugi's theme actually grows on you after a while. The same can't be said for Yamame's, though. It's not bad, but it'll never be good.

Can't really decide, practically all games kinda have an amazing OST with equally great songs. If I really had to choose, it'd probably be PCB because stage 2 theme, Chen's theme, Yuyuko and Necrofantasia. <3

Best is MoF, where i love every theme except "Faith is for transient people".
Followed closely by SA and UFO where most of the tracks are awesome too.

Sure, there's always room for improvement at reading dense stuff, but when bullets are borderline traveling faster than the physical limits of human reaction times? No, go away.

LACK OF CONTROL, OH GOD.

I can usually figure out the 'go to' spots when it comes to fast bullets (yes, even if they're pretty goddamn fast) provided they're not dense. And, well, we're talking fast vs dense here.

Honestly. My spiteful fingers take a wicked amount of pleasure into manuvering my poor shrine maiden into the slowest and most obvious bullets.

I like fast bullets (if they're not dense at the same time

) cause they fly away faster.
Dense but slow bullets are fine too until they are all over the place and coming from all sides >_<

If I can handle popcorn hell on Ultra Lunatic and Shikieiki round 1 somewhat well, then dense bullets shouldn't be as much of a problem.

Fast bullets: I have the level of reflex that is retarded at best. Somehow I can make my way out of dense bullets though.
