...Yeah, now that you mention it, that's probably a little excessive for this mech's image. Thankfully it only takes a little tweak... laser wings! Or whatever they are. Better to make it look less physical, anyhow.
I guess I should mention something here. I've only recently gotten into the mecha thing, and I'm still in the process of sampling what's out there... so the "techfags" will have to try to have patience with me. X3 I'm trying to strike a balance between taking in the classics, and making mecha on my own terms. For the former, I'll need the help of Zengar and friends! If it's a tiny change, I'll do that on the fly... if it's a large one, I'll just keep it in mind when the mech gets "upgraded" or somesuch.
I've seen the sticky advising against making suggestions in stories... plot-wise I'm keeping to that, but I will take suggestions for mech designs. For the first few chapters it is mostly the SA crew, and I see everyone getting something except Parsee (you'll see why) aaand I have no idea if Little Dipper a.k.a Kisume will get something special, yet.
