Do we want to be tough Mokou or kind Mokou here? I could see her reacting either way quite easily, but I can't decide which.

> If we wanna be tough

> You realise that before you can complain about anything ruining your groove, you need a haircut. How can you BALANCE with that?

> If we don't wanna be tough

> Just apologise.

I don't even remember who put the above in my sig. [Wasn't me] Nor do I understand why I keep it here anymore.
Those two facts sum me up pretty well.

Since he's going to speak in theme, let's do so too!

"All right, if you think you can take the heat."

>Dance if he actually really just wants to dance.

>Because Mokou Dancing is best dancing

> The man laughs. "You need to practice your beats, missy! Why don't you stick to battling? Of course in battle, as in dance, my groove can't be beat!"

Since he's going to speak in theme, let's do so too!

"All right, if you think you can take the heat."

Let's begin with Lighter!

> "How about we keep to 2 pokemon? I wouldn't want to lose all my backup! Ludicolo, let's show missy how it's done with a rain dance baby!"

> One of his duck things comes forward with a huge stream of water into the air. It comes back down as a sporadically in drops, you figure the attack is designed to simulate rain. The other patrons of the boat aren't so enthusiastic.

> "Hey watch it buddy!"

> "Aw, great, you got my suit wet!"

> The afro guy responds to the criticism, "You should consider yourself lucky. Not everyone gets to see a performance by the one and only Miror B!" You note that his afro is unaffected by the drizzle.

Oh.

> Your Charmeleon closes the distance and slashes at the pokemon, leving a big gash across it's chest.

> "Ludicolo, use hydropump baby!"

> Ludicolo blasts a torrent of water at your Charmeleon, smashing it into the deck. You don't think Charmeleon can fight anymore.

> "Two steps to the left and a beam," your opponent commands. His ludicolo dodges your attacks with a quick hop, getting nicked in the process. It then responds with ice beam again. This time the beam connects - icicles start hanging from Flint.

Did you know spearow can't learn gust?

> Your spearow pulls up and knocks Ludicolo back with a whirlwind.

> "Hey, watch it!" a nearby fisherman tells you. Your wind has disturbed sone of the passengers. Course, they probably expect it since they're on the front deck, but it's still a nuisance.

> "Use Hydropump!" Miror B commands. The 'rain' is tapering out.

>"Dodge, dive, peck!"

> Your Fearow dodges, dives, and tries to peck, but fails to outmaneuver the attack. It get's knocked to the ground.

> You return Fearow to it's ball. You lose 200 p. You now have 22,400 p.

> "Not bad missy, but nobody can keep up with my groove!" The flamboyant trainer says as he wiggles his hips. You consider catching and training some stronger pokemon before rematching against him.

> You can either catch more pokemon, talk to Miror B and the nearby passengers, or explore the ship. Your room is A-3; the ship also has a dining room, a small library, and a lounge for watching movies.

That Miror. B is good, if a bit of a bunny-ears lawyer. Let's ask him where he's going, and if he has any tips for a new trainer.

> "Wherever I feel like, baby! Though that Indego League strikes me as mighty fine! Oh yeah!"

and if he has any tips for a new trainer.

> "Well, what's messing you up, missy? To catch the best pokemon you have to know what you're looking for and search high and low for it. You can't rely on luck. To fight better you have to come up with some strategies. Lots of trainers set the stage before they come out rocking. Take me, I soak the field just the way my Ludicolo likes it then bam! I let it do it's thing."
