Optimal-ish.

181.70 left if anyone wants to challenge my time  :D

and fixed.

Sweet. I was going to request someone to do this.

5-8, 96.14
Holding the second to last shot longer might have made this faster.

6-5, 100.01
Waited on to the second to last shot for a bit, probably made it slower.

11-7, 176.10

Ok, time for me to make a contribution:

Clearly it is because you are Asian, as evidenced by the grammar in that sentence.

I gave that a try and captured it, but you still beat me by 9 hundredths of a second.

Suika...why does density manipulation let you do that?

7-5, 85.84
The only parts that matter are first 2 photos and the last one.

SP-1, 18.56
So much button mashing.  Could be done faster, but I had about a half dozen 18.55's before I got this.

SP-5, 18.52
Hatate has a screen that must be Z'd through, so no ctrl-Z to do it faster.

SP-9, 161.76
This is a hard one, but I never stopped charging and had only minor delays going for photos.

Updating table through this post, it'll take a while though.

I've got more:

4-7: 94.33 http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20759

I feel like I'm just bad at taking pictures as soon as they're ready so this one feels like it can be improved.

Damn you No Name for sniping 6-4 but at least I beat you at 4-7.

Ridley, I beat your 2-6 in a couple of tries, by dodging through the blues  :V
Guess I should have waited :V

1-6: 86.40 by I have no name
This time was reported incorrectly, as the scene actually ends at 81.40 (see below).

2-4: 99.15 by 大ナマズ様
This is my run, 大ナマズ様's name was accidentally left instead.

1-6: 81.71 s
The wave for the last photo pushes you away, so staying close enough to take the photo right away can be a little tricky.
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20748

3-1: 98.79 s
I decided to try and enter the red bullets for the second photo, which got me killed most of the time. Still a delay on the last photo, but doing that one faster will be tough.
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20749

3-4: 95.35 s
Might be possible to lower the time by crossing in front of the reflected bullets rather than going behind them.
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20752

3-8: 95.67 s
Just have to stay in the middle and hope an umbrella (?) doesn't spawn above you.

@BT, missed that one
@Ozzy I think that one can fall to 94.50
@Ridley The bigger the table/the bigger the update, the greater the odds of a mistake are.

57 scenes down if my count is correct, meaning we're more than halfway there!

I feel like an ass doing this but

Chalros EX-6 147.59 remaining

I took 1 defensive shot as well but I guess it came out a tenth of a second faster at the end. I definitely think it can be done without one but its very luck-based and since the Z key just popped off of my laptop today I wont be throwing runs away for nothing until I find a way to fix it (I can still use it some but the actual button part is about to come off so I need to be careful for the sake of playing other Touhous and other games). God I can't wait til I can get a new computer... must remember to backup all Touhou game data and stuff.

Also
SP-5 19.54 remaining

Couldn't get SP-1 though :P

Also I was trying  12-2 "Purple Mirror" (inspired by No name's post in another thread) and got this one where I missed the final shot because panic but I figured I'd throw it out there for people to look at the strat. Not completely sure if it would shave anything off so it might not be worth trying but w/e. My final shot began within a tenth of a second from the replay that No name has currently but I'm sure it can be refined by someone better than me.

Chalros 12-2 181.XX remaining

Current Goals: Clear all games on hard with every shottype (or team, not all solos in IN)

Remaining: EoSD 0, PCB 3, IN 0, MoF 3 (Marisa B doesn't count), SA 4, UFO all B types, TD Youmu, total 14.

I think it's faster (and safer) to go above for the last shot, and that was otherwise the same as IHNN's. About 2 seconds ellapse after you take the final shot in any given scene, so you'd have to take a picture at ~183 to get a better time. (It's pretty damn optimal as it is).

EDIT:

12-3, 167.80
There's really only one way to do it. (Of course, that's what I said about 12-2.)
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20779

12-5, 164.45
An obnoxious, boring scene. I just ran it a few times and took the best one, which happened to be better than my old one.
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20776

12-6, ??
I remeber there was a way to make the bugged replays work, but I don't remember just what it was. I was able to stay focused for the first several shots, so I think it's pretty fast. I'm hoping someone else can get it to work.

For some reason I didn't expect Nitori to be within shooting range for the last photo, I'm blinded by watching that % rise.

12-3, 167.80

I feel like an ass doing this but
I'm sorry, what?
Chalros EX-6 147.59 remaining
147 left is a crap time you know, I posted a 173.  Was this a typo?  Checked the replay (more work for me, yay) and it's actually 173.59.  Not that it matters because I cut out the defensive shot with a 179.12.
Also
SP-5 19.54 remaining
19.54 is impossible, is this actually an 18.54 or did you time it off of when you took the last shot, not the final frame shown in the replay?
Checked this one too, and it's an 18.54.  I managed to improve it to 18.55 though :P

Also I think I'm going to settle into daily table updates, that's probably the easiest way for me to do it.  (Note: not now, probably in a half hour or so, if not this afternoon)

For 12-6, seeing as it's bugged it may honestly be better to live-record attempts on that one.  I would need the original .avi file in that case.

Catching more bullets in the second photo could yield a better time.

3-4, 95.50
Keeping as far away from Yamame as you can to catch the most bullets was the general idea.

7-3, 92.15
Plenty of room for improvement.

I have a live-recording of a 169.40 (first clear, bad last shot but everything else was all charge) (second clear, cool last two shots)
The mosdt pictures I've been able to get that replay to take is 3, if someone can successfully record that replay though please do so and send me the recorded .avi file.

Filling in some gaps, these should be pretty easy to beat.

SP-6, 179.57
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20795

SP-7, 182.64
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20796

SP-8, 175.82
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20797

Found a strategy for SP-9 that will possibly save a second or so, it's probably TAS only though.

I don't think my 12-6 was as good as yours, so don't worry about trying to make it work. Doing live recordings is a good idea for that one, so if I want to retry it, that's what I'll do.

Hopefully this will help chip away at those last few stages:

8-5 127.05 http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20802
This didn't take me too long to do, so it's probably not perfect. I'll probably try this again sometime. There is a bit of hesitation in the shots, but I discovered that a little hesitation is necessary to include the newly spawning zombie fairies in the shot, reducing your charge time and increasing your survival chance considerably.

Re: Double Spoiler: speedrunning individual scenes
« Reply #54 on: May 05, 2012, 03:08:53 AM »
or did you time it off of when you took the last shot, not the final frame shown in the replay?
managed to improve it to 18.55 though :P
Probably just typos, my mistake. I was just happy that I might have had something on the list so I rushed to post it since I'm just retarded, likely the latter because of what happened to my keyboard (see previous post).

Probably not quite optimized, but the time looks nice.
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20824

12-1, 176.55
I tried holding the first photo to catch some bullets, but I believe it turned out to be a few frames slower. So I did it the normal way instead.

EX-2, 176.91
Follow Marisa around to stay safe.
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20826

edit

Attached another zip with replays, same deal as last time.
6-1, 95.59 - Keep an eye on Yuugi's movements so that the lasers don't push you around.
6-2, 95.46 - Not too speedrunning friendly, I make a compromise before the last shot for survival.
6-3, 85.25 - I'm trying to get into the charge asap after the fourth photo.
6-8, 83.33 - This one is annoying, because there's no way to snap more than one photo per cycle, so I just tried getting the last photo really early.
8-2, 89.78 - Survival, I don't know if there's any good strategy on this besides rushing up right after the last cycle ends.
11-4, 169.68 - Survival, doing it any other way would be too annoying.

This should link to http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20748 instead.

1-1: 97.24 s
Moved to the side at the beginning so I could stream back toward the center and be in a better position to dodge the next set of bullets.
http://replays.gensokyou.org/download.php?id=20842

1-2: 76.50 s
Looks like I captured most or all of the red bullets in the second photo.

1-3: 76.17 s
Fortunately, the bubbles have small hit-boxes.

1-4: 85.67 s
I used the horizontal format for the second photo. Not sure if it helped though.

7-7: 82.57 s
Improvable by more double focusing.

8-4: 84.25 s
Probably improvable by better positioning.
