>Everyone else heads out to do the regular tourist-y things: sightsee, chat with the locals and chat with each other.
9 Days Before the Festival>Suika indeed hosts her aforementioned feast, and it happens to be the same restaurant that you visited with Patchouli and Koakuma.
>Suika sticks around that night, but everyone else goes home.
8 Days Before the Festival>You already see a few denizens of Gensokyo exploring the Ancient City, having received word of the festival and being rather curious about the area.
>Suika goes back to the surface, with the intentions of pestering Reimu for the next few days.
7 Days Before the Festival>The outfits for Okuu, Orin, Koishi and yourself all arrive, in perfect condition.
>A few of the staff for the festival arrive just for a few hours, to chat some more.
6 Days Before the Festival>Nothing particularly interesting happens today.
5 Days Before the Festival>Koishi goes to some of the metalwork Oni, with some more ideas for souvenirs.
4 Days Before the Festvial>Reimu visits, saying Suika is getting a bit too annoying and therefore she needs to escape for a while.
>Suika also visits, and arranges another mini get-together at the restaurant again.
3 Days Before the Festival>Some more citizens of Gensokyo come to have a look around the Ancient City.
>Yukari pops in for, literally, 5 minutes, dropping off some large handwritten timetables and signs showing large maps of the underground to place over specific parts of the city, with appropriate "You are here" labels.
2 Days Before the Festival>Excitement is building...!
>A few Oni have started decorating their market stalls in the main square, and putting up festive decorations all over the city.
>Koishi also goes to help set up the souvenir stand near the entrance to the city.
1 Day Before the Festival>It is almost a riot. There is nobody in the city that isn't excited.
>Some of the staff and visitors come early.
