@Affinity: The fact that your role didn't fit the paradigm was the first thing that cast major doubt over your alignment.  Taking that into account, and Omba's flip, it seemed like D2 was probably one your scum bussing MO's, and your other scum MO is scumpainting, which sometimes seems so reasonable it will only attract the ire of mostly the one you're making a case on, such as your case Serela D1.  Thinking on D2 further, Omba was mostly attacking HW, why not attack you, or both?  However, when you're under pressure your scum painting isn't as elegant it's more like it's caked or tacked on.  A lot of this is meta reasoning, but I'd like to think there is some truth as I've been pitted against scum!Affinity twice now.  Also, Omba does a hefty chainsaw at #1273. But that's also circumstantial.

Oh, and I'm probably slow, but it looks like there are 4 scum per Shadoweh's D3 start post Rumia killed K4, and Meiling was Omba.  Reading past that though, mod neither confirms or denies it.  I'm going to start assuming there are three more scum.

As far as I can Affinity's whole argument on both me and Dormio is "role doesn't fit, not obvtown, thus scum"

about Dorian's claim for the 50th bazillionth time: I didn't believe it because it seemed too situational and was claimed out of nowhere.  Add to that he said he was "some Russel guy from Survivor" (I watched that season, that guy was the epitome of evil), and I immediately assumed "scum, fake claim, lynch"  Of course not based entirely on the flavor, but that kind of pushed it over the edge from "probably scum" to "scum. die."

if you want more reasons nameless then your weird move onto Omba from suspecting both huhwhat and BT without explanation would suffice.  also as rawr said a lack of concrete idea as to who the scum are from day three onwards is also pretty valid.  lots of things which are wrong about you here.  preferred your pre-day3 better than dormio's though.

3 scum left.  in these 5 people: IHNN, Serela, Affinity, Chaore, Bob.  Don't ask why Dormio isn't here.  it pains me.

Somehow I was thinking Serela/Affinity are both town or both scum.  Same with Chaore/Bob, both town or both scum.  That leaves IHNN as scum.

Besides IHNN being scummy anyway, I believe that based on roles either Affinity/Serela's claims were made up on the spot or they are legit.  Chaore never had his claim tested, and this should happen sometime.  Even if both Bob and Chaore's claims are real, it is not indicative of alignment.

ANYWAY regardless ##lynch IHNN.  Poe + bad claim + stuff that can't fit in the margins.

I don't particularly care about which one of Serela and Affinity die today, because I know that I'll want the other to die tomorrow.
If I had to choose one, I would choose Serela.
Firstly, hypocrisy in regards to who he wants lynched.
I'm inclined to believe the only reason he picked me up was because other people were looking in my direction.
Case in point? Why is Chaore townie to Serela? Because nobody else is bothering to look at Chaore amirite?
There's also the weirdass claim shit that happened during N2.

I agree that Omba/Affinity/BT is a contradictory claim triangle and one of them is definitely scum (BT I extremely doubt would be it, so Omba or Affinity) plus Omba and Affinity are weird anyway.

@Affinity: Why did you nominate BT? If he evicts town, how will that affect your reads on him?  Also, much of your case on Dormio relies on his D1, D2 play, which many other people had suspected at that time, however, since then he was almost lynched, and a number of people cleared him by his reaction(s) under pressure.  What do/did you make of Dormio's reaction?  You already pretty much had the same case on him as you do now.

Also, I'm thinking if Affinity does flip scum (and he did make a fakeclaim), then it seems unlikely Serela is also, as it was Serela's #1011 that kept pressuring Affinity to claim as he did, resulting in what was a suspicious claim, and probably one of the primary reasons people suspect Affinity.

Furthermore, to Affinity: I'm very sure you're a competent player, thus making it difficult to see play differences when you are scum or town, but if I don't susect things(reads: pre-conceived notions), rather taking everything at face value, scum-hunting becomes exceptionally difficult.

Numerous things add up here, like the fact he (claims to have) discarded Dorian's claim as linked to his own role way too easily, his flaky reads, his claim and now this whole recent era of nearly purely defensive posts that don't help my opinion on him in the slightest.

After some reading (and Dormio's recent post), the only thing stopping me from evicting Serela right here and now is the whole "first ___ enabler claim" thing. Safe to say one of Dormio/Serela is scum, if not both.

i am not so easily swayed as to dismiss apathy as a townie action

and maybe he has had consistent reads for the past two days for all that it is worth
