I found it bizarre because he claimed Backup Watcher. It was bizarre only because I thought it conflicted with my role. This was only for a small timeframe.

"His claim is so weird, man" seems like a bad excuse to me. Is 'weird claim' a scumtell? Am I the only one with a weird claim? Is this your best bet to base a lynch off of? (hint: no x3)

That's the whole point. I THOUGHT he was a regular backup role (like what Affinity claimed) so I immediately thought he was scum for it, then I realized it wasn't so I calmed down.

The way you guys reacted to my claim makes sense in way that something obviously overcame both of you. Rawr realized he was supporting my role with his, and BT was arguing with himself as to whether such a role as mine could exist with his. IT ALL MAKES SENSE.

You guys are the 2 people I'm putting all my faith into. fight the good fight together for pete's sake.

Also my role was totally vanilla town. how dull.

Hw I hope you aren't trying to cajole the masses into voting omba tooooo quickly. I suggest we look at this from scum's perspective. They usually make plans to mislynch people for the win etc. If I didn't know better I feel like Omba is a mislynch target. I mean or scum getting bussed or something. But people gotta be wary.

Okay then.

We're not lynching Omba. He's going to target one of the suspects tonight (nighttalk will help here. he does have nighttalk, right?), and if/when we lynch him in the future we'll have clears that aren't obvtown Rawr and Chaore. And if he dies well uh mislynch avoided.

I still don't know about Affinity. If Omba exists then his backup being the odd one out makes sense. He's been posting townie for God knows how long. The only thing I was going to lynch him off of is ~role contradictions~ but maaaan I don't know.

What do we even have at this point?

Problem with this: if Serela was telling the truth, scum NKs him and Omba gets a free pass to endgame as scum. Omba makes no sense as a NK target since his results resolve instantly now. We can't even use "if Omba stays alive too long after today we lynch him". Will switch to Nameless at deadline if Omba isn't getting lynched, but I'm very, very certain of scum!Omba to the extent that I'm willing to risk killing the cop today over it.

I had assumed rawr was a seeker role like mine and Dan's, and I had a suspicion that my role wouldn't actually amount to anything. Plus, Bard replaced out immediately after receiving a role PM.

Seriously, look at the table you provided. EVERY "POWER" ROLE HAS AN ENABLER
Just because I claimed the enabler to something after it flipped doesn't mean anything, seeing as I received my role as vig enabler BEFORE the flip.

Seriously guys, is it possible to play the game without having to take guesses as to what twisted setup the mind of Shadoweh cooked up?

The next day I was bored so I played some Touhou. of course, I was unable to clear any non A route in Great Fairy Wars on hard (Great Faily Wars, I amusingly thought to myself), so I went for a swim. When I arrived I saw Swadomeh was throwing a party on the beach for BT, Omba, HW, a dead guy and Dan.

Though I agree the circumstances surrounding Omba's night result are fishy, I feel it was close enough to the daystart that the reason could simply be mod ordering of "dawn" events. You seem to be voting based mostly on that, which (IMO) isn't warranting of a lynch.

Chaore I think went insane, because that post makes no sense at all. Today is coming down to BT vs Omba, is that all you got :pout:? I'm not sure what you're reading but BT has been obvtown for a while now.

I was ready to clear Serela also. His D1 reaction to my claim was townie (also capt.h thought he was town) and I thought he based his reasoning on my role being an equivlent of his at first but I guess that isn't the case. Which kinda sucks because I was gonna completely vouch for him.

Nameless' claim is definitely one of the more dubious especially considering he voted the person he was enabling without a second thought. HOWEVER, either Omba/Affinity/BT (and probably not BT!), there's definitely at least one scum due to claim contradictions, so we seriously have to lynch Omba or Affinity today. Otherwise I'd be okay with an IHNN lynch, but yeah, so no.

HW don't be silly. If Affinity flips town Omba is just going to be turbolynched tomorrow. Plus you think both are scum so doesn't lynching both seem fine?

I'm still sad that I forever read HW as town and scum at the same time. ~~Maybe he's a third party.~~

Yeah, was hoping for something more detailed than that, though.

I have more conviction on Omba than Affinity. If Affinity flips scum, there's a chance for scum!Omba to get away. Also, the Omba wagon looks pretty damn unlikely to be a scum push on a town cop right now given how Affinity and Chaore make very little sense as scum if Omba is town.

You know how I was suspicious of Affinity for how he handled the end of D2?

Turns out Omba handled it just as badly and I missed it. "bawww I don't want to lynch LLD" but he never tried to get another wagon going at all. Not even on Nameless, or BT for that matter. I'd say he even handled it worse.

I think rawr's reaction to Dan's claim is unlikely to come from scum because the breadcrumb is specific rather than just a vague hint toward a semi-common role that would be easy to fakeclaim (what Omba did, basically).
