>Continue in the left direction and peek around the corner (whose existence I seem to have been oblivious of)
>You head back left, past the archive until you reach the turn in the corridor.
>You take a look around the corner to see the corridor continuing with two doors along the path until it reaches another turn.
>Both of these doors appear to have been opened.

We're walking in circles now. Pick a direction and stick to it <_<

>If we're the one who opened those doors, just keep walking along the corridor. If we run into branches in the path, take the one without open doors - where the mini-Suika's haven't been.

In circles? What? Huh? When?
If you're referring to the return to the entrance, it was because I thought there were doors in the sides of that corridor too. I thought the Suikas would go through those (apparently they were all gone already), so if we then overlooked the corridor for a while, we could see if one of them would find anything of note.
I'm certainly not turning around now...

>If we're the one who opened those doors, just keep walking along the corridor. If we run into branches in the path, take the one without open doors - where the mini-Suika's haven't been.
Whuh? But we never even been beyond that first turn, how could we have opened the doors? ???

I'm really confused about which of us is confused about the architecture. Or maybe that's intentional, or maybe we're both mistaken.
Little recap here: we have an entrance. Then there are two corridors, each of which has a door and a turn. We opened the room in the right corridor, then went back and opened the one in the left corridor. Then I backtracked because I was imagining doors before returning left and going around the bend, which we had not been around before.
Is that more or less correct? I'll have to know if I'm going to state any coherent commands.

Hmm... alright then, thank you.

Then let's just carry on with my commands:
>Can the Suika communicate with the other Suikas?
>If so, ask her if they're seeing any particularly fancy doors.
>Open the left door.

>Can the Suika communicate with the other Suikas?
>If so, ask her if they're seeing any particularly fancy doors.
>Open the left door.
>You have no idea.
>"Umm... Maybe!"
>All the doors in the corridor you're standing in, as well as the two doors in the section of the corridor that you're looking into have already been opened.

>Both rooms seem to contain more scrolls and books. You can see several Suikas in each room looking rather bored.

>You don't have the time to entertain a flock of Suikas.
>You approach the end of this section of the corridor and go past the turn to see yet more corridor.

>Open the doors.
>You walk up to the middle of the corridor, where the door is.
>As you approach, the Suikas make way for you to open to the door.
>You take hold of the handles and throw the doors open to reveal a rather large hallway.
>You can see two stairwells by a rather large set of doors at the other end of the hallway.
>You can see a balcony on either side of the hallway attached to the stairwells.
>The Suikas rush into and spread out through the hallway.

>You walk across the hallway and open the large doors.
>On the other side you see stairs leading down into an incredibly large room. You get the feeling that you could fit a sizeable portion of Mayohiga within this room.
>However, your view of this room is slightly distorted. Everything within the room seems to shimmer.
>The Suika on your shoulder jumps off and snaps her fingers.
>You hear a lot of small screams as the other Suikas disappear, leaving you with one normal sized Suika by your side.

>You see Suika pluck out a strand of hair which she drops as it transforms into a smaller version of herself.
>The smaller Suika then runs through the doorframe. You notice that the Suika does not appear to disturb the 'surface' of the doorframe.
>You can see the Suika waving to you through the doorframe with no problems, though her form appears distorted from your perspective like everything else within the large room.

Looks like we're going to have to take the plunge.

>"I'll get you alcohol from outside the border once the Border Incident is wrapped up and I can duck outside for a bit~"
>Do we have alcohol from outside Gensokyo lying around Mayohiga right now? If not, after the border incident it is.
>Well this looks like once of those things that only bothers us. At least it probably wont kill us
>Put head through the doorframe.
>Be ready to pull back out at a sign of more danger than usual for us.

>You can see Suika on the other side, albeit somewhat distorted.

>You wonder if such things are a blessing or a curse.
>You do hope that it won't kill you.
>You put your head through the doorframe, and as you do so the interior of the larger room changes immediately.
>The room looks derelict, with many cracks running across the walls and ceiling. The entire room looks as though it is at risk of collapsing.
>Along the floor of the room, you can see the unmistakable form of the dragon.
