Perfect Utsuho in an actual 1cc run - Replay

This was part of me working on my "clear normal in all Windows games with all shottypes" objective. My first run with MarisaC to reach Utsuho, and I perfect her. Therefore I will never play MarisaC on normal again because I have perfect 1/1 records on all her normal spells. Also my highest score in SA normal to date (no, I never really try scoring at all)

Xu Fu's supergrazing method still confuses me. I can't find a pattern or rhythm to follow, like when I graze Honest Man's Death. And I'll admit, HMD is an incredibly stupid card. It took me a few hundred attempts to figure out before I thought "Hey! I don't think ZUN wanted to make an Extra card this difficult...". Then I got to the Rings of Death :V

Ugh, I am so bad at UFO's Extra stage. I need to really plan out a good UFO route to clear bullets and memorize the spam fairy locations. Somehow, I managed to make it all the way to Nue with 3 extra lives and 1 bomb just now and made it all the way to the nonspell after Danmaku Chimaera. It was the first time I had seen Snake Show and Blue UFOs. Progress is progress.

Yes, until I messed and walled myself in Stage 4 at which point I figured "go for the 1200 extend!" which I missed by 32 but whatever.

Might I assume the >300m difference between your and my PCB Hard clears is due to difference in Cherry?
(or perhaps because i used sakuyA)

because I got 1,300 Points and still only eked out a little over 600,000,000

Presumably this because Cherry goes up when you capture spells and I captured 24 :V
Also this is my 5th or so hard clear because I haven't bothered to play it much.

Capturing spells also increases the worth of cherry items. And SakuyaA generates Cherry+ at snail speed, unless maybe you shotgun unfocused.

I became addicted to Shou suddenly. I've perfected her three times, though each run had one death to Vajra. I think I'm doing something wrong with that spell. I'm glad Shou can't rape me anymore though. The only really hard part is if she "shotguns" you with her second nonspell, though runnning into the corner helps to counter that.

Yet more proof that you should never ragequit. This was a hilariously bad start that somehow kept straining itself to the end. I haven't had my blood pumping like that ending for quite a while, phew.

EDIT: Less impressive and without a replay, but a follow-up playthrough of phantasm yielded a BoLaD capture without using the safespot. :dragonforce:

I never even knew there was a safespot.

Caps lock rage walls about how you want kill some character/ZUN, fine, every once in a while.
Jokingly saying "now do it with Marisa" or the like after someone does something, fine, as long as you aren't serious (or if you are, if it's not a dumb suggestion. see MMX's response to my MoF hard no vertical run for a good instance of this.)
But flat out telling someone what they did isn't an achievement is crossing the line.
I didn't tell you "your UFO no focus normal run isn't an achievement because mine had 5 lives left and captured way way way more spells", because as Chisou said, it's all relative.
I'm not saying stop posting, I'm saying try to be more respectful to your fellow forumgoers (and don't pull "this is how I am IRL, because then I'll just say be more respectful IRL)
