For my skill (Ha! Ha!) good scores would probably be
TH06: 125, 000, 000 (Even though I've only gotten 112m)
TH07: 800, 000, 000 (760m)
TH08: 1, 750, 000, 000 (1.6b)
TH10: 900, 000, 000 (850m)
TH11: 500, 000, 000 (470m)
TH12: 300, 000, 000 (250m)
TH13: 500, 000, 000 (470m)

These are all either Normal or Hard runs.
As you can see, my standards are obviously far below yours :getdown:

PCB Ultra attempted again. I did some practice with Stage 1 and 2 and Chen seems pretty hard compared to before, yet doable. I don't know if this is just Sunday syndrome though.

According to the website, a new revision has been released in 2012 and I don't think I've given the patch a shot this year. Not in PCB anyway. I haven't played Yuyuko yet so I don't know if things has changed but I sure hope they have.

For SA I'd say 2 billions and up. I got 1.3 billion in the game in one score attempt with no practice beforehand (as in bombing Parsee and S4 midboss for graze and really nothing beyond that) and I'd hardly call that decent. For IN I'd say about 4 billion is a decent score. PCB and MoF is probably around 1.5 billion. UFO around 1 billion. EoSD and TD, idk.

Wanted to wait until I had a video of this one, but Youtube crapped out on me and somehow made the video literally impossible to watch after it finished uploading. Lately it seems like Youtube is refusing to let me upload anything. Had to try uploading the BoWaP clear three times, for fuck's sake.

I've set Youtube to start uploading, but I really need to go to bed, so I have no idea if it'll go through or not. If it's not on my channel within 2 hours of this post (and that's being generous, it shouldn't take more than 1), Youtube fucked up again.

If you're trying to reach a billion in UFO and don't care how, play on Easy (you don't want to be using any more lives/bombs than necessary, considering you only get 5 lives total when you're not summoning any red UFOs). I don't expect to be reaching a billion in UFO Lunatic for a long time after my first 1cc.

As for SA, score is basically doubled by difficulty (I got 1 billion on my first Lunatic 1cc, but I've only reached like 600 million on Hard, both with ReimuA meaning I used the BoWaP safespot), so a decent score depends a lot on what difficulty you're playing.

Personally I consider a decent score to be a run containing whatever scoring techniques I feel I can do reasonably well (oh, and it has to be higher than my previous high score of course).

Got to Grudge Bow again on UFO Extra, 90FPS... after about three months of very sporadic playing.

I find it upsetting that 90FPS runs aren't listed under TVTrope's "Self Imposed Challenge" page for Touhou.

Oh, that explains it. I'd assumed you were just playing for score, considering your final score matched your high score in that screenshot.

In a frenzy, I beat up the Lunaryans today. While their rabbit put up a surprisingly large fight, their despicable brain fell like a puny human. =w= I even captured her forbidden arcanum.

As for the princess, we had a good rumble. Still, it was admittedly satisfying to see all of her airs of being able to manipulate eternity come to naught, as four of her five last spells failed.

IaMP Normal Clear with Reimu, yey! Glad I managed to win this, first time I managed to defeat both Remilia and Yukari without losing a single Extra Life, lost only one in the entire run, against Suika.
There are still some parts that need work, but I'll get to that on Hard and Lunatic I guess.

Just wondering, but why aren't you playing other modes? Easy 120fps sounds like you're itching for a better challenge, and watching the video, you're not half bad.

Oi, I totally forgot about this run from yesterday.

It was pretty terrible. I died with 0 bombs to Ichirin's midspell, which I never fail, and that caused me to die TWICE with FULL bombs during the walls and fairyspam. I also missed 3 life pieces during Stage 4, died to Murasa's second nonspell, and to her third and last cards once each. I also died with bombs to the fairyspam @ Stage 5 and to the arrowspam right after Nazrin. Aaaand to top it all off I lost my last life, with 4 bombs in stock, trying to cap Byakuren's first card but getting clipped on the first wave.

BUT, I did manage to cap King Krakken Strike and NBND Stage 4's stage portion. Live. It was pretty great.

90FPS TD Easy Reimu 1cc

But that was too easy for me, so...

120FPS TD Easy Reimu 1cc

I originally did the 90FPS run to unlock Easy spells but I thought that 90FPS was fun so I did 120FPS and hung on, bombing the last card in so paranoid of a way that it makes an Easy player about to 1cc something on Hard look absolutely neutral.

I am satisfied. Also, I got a near-perfect Miko fight, besides the bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb at the very end.

Once I clear this game on Lunatic, I'm going to do 150FPS Easy.

GUESS WHAT I DID

Perfect Mountain of Faith lunatic Stage 4

First try that got past the second waterfall. Momiji is such a fun pattern, and that was my best capture of Aya's 3rd nonspell ever. I certainly didn't expect a re-perfect of Aya after perfecting the stage, but there you go. PWG history is something like 5/14 total for me or some ridiculously high value like that, even though my score.dat says 1/2.
