Speaking of extra clears, just cleared PoFV Extra with Komachi. Only in a place where you die in one hit can you perfect the art of "stay still and pray nothing hits you". >_>

So I just cleared 5-5 by making a bunch of stupidly impossible dodges.

I then read Zil's advice, with replay attached, for how I was supposed to actually do the card.

So, um, whoops.

EDIT: And the funny thing is, now that I watch the replay, our methods are really similar anyway. :V

It's kind of been a while since I did something. I recently managed to beat Lunatic Komachi in PoFV. It's not so much the win itself, since that's just Reimu being Reimu, but some of the individual dodges were pretty cool. This game is so fun it makes me want to go through and beat every character with Reimu, so I think I will.

On the topic of my own achievements, I captured Double Spoiler 9-5 and made myself sick of Fragrant Plants II because I refused to listen to Bell of Avici. I hate Double Spoiler's OST except for theme six because it's ripped from MoF.

No kidding, that game on Lunatic seems like an absolute nightmare. To make SA your first Lunatic 1CC while still having five lives at the end is crazy from my point view.

Thanks guys, it really is a huge accomplishment for me. :3

SA seemed the most obvious to me seeing how long I've been playing it and having Hard beaten numerous times I kind of knew my way through most things. Lunatic only really elaborates on the patterns and makes everything denser. Though I didn't expect it to turn out like this, especially with those rather low resources right after Orin, haha.

I kind of feel compelled to do UFO Lunatic next since I've been doing an awful lot on Hard lately, what with almost perfecting Shou and Byakuren and generally sucking a lot less than before. Though Lunatic is like completely different from Hard so it will be quite the feast to pull off. But I know I can do it if I stick to it!

Oh and playing Utsuho's third card the seemingly-intended way was pretty surprising (it was the first time I'd seen that done on Lunatic, actually). I didn't think there was anyone who would risk that when they don't yet have a 1cc, though you certainly had enough lives to risk it.

And interestingly enough, when I tried to practice Stage 6 on Normal difficulty, my performance on Mountain of Faith was worse than the 1cc run one.

This was pretty fun. I ended with some fancy dodges through the final spell, and dodged the kamikaze fairies perfectly!

Your videos on 90FPS Shoot the Bullet thus far have been absolutely crazy.

I can't even believe that something like this is humanly possible, but you are totally gonna 90FPS clear Shoot the Bullet in its entirety, you absolute monster.

I usually count in the very last life (that is when no stars are left in the live counter) as well, so "technically" it would be five but I guess you can say four too. Not that it really matters though.

Also believe me or not, but standing in the middle dodging only left and right seems kind of uh... difficult for me. I don't really trust the hitboxes and I feel way more comfortable doing her third spell this way. The spell is still ridiculously easy though IMO so yeah. xD

Getting to Stage 6 with two extra life isn't 'not so much', by the way. My runs usually averaged on one extra life and that's usually enough for Utsuho, factoring in new life pieces and bombspam.

Nice work with Blazing Wheel. I never have the guts for that in-run. Not gonna lie, the run isn't anything extraordinary, but bomb usage was solid and that's what counted in the end.

Bomb usage was very overblown in retrospect, especially in stage 5 but hey, it's my first Lunatic 1cc and I can probably shape up much better now that I know I can do it. Not that I have any intentions of doing so at the moment. xD
