Ive seen people who use bombs in a pacifist run, especially on extra stages when they don't affect bosses during spells.

And I don't really know the definition of left-half. It's pretty hard to enforce that restriction - same things for top-half. And I game overed on Stage 1 against the boss. The boss was out of reach for most of the time and I kept dying to things that I didn't even know was there. How far into these do you need to go before taking on a new one?  :3

I'll try re-rolling. Now I'll have to go for LLS Normal Pacifist No-vertical without bombs and with a character of somebody's choice. Who?

Maybe we should just define pacifist as 'no shooting' so you don't have to re-roll if you get both no-bombs and pacifist.

I personally don't categorize deathbombing as an offensive, but ymmv.

Alright, back on this challenge, but I'd like to do it a little bit differently this time: I'll go with tengu mode at first, and then post a second replay that basically is the playthrough of the same game with one less wildcard (i.e. in kappa mode) and you can watch both just for comparison.

My first run of today gave me IN, Normal, Pacifist, no bomb, no focus. Sounds like it'll be a rough ride for me, especially with that no focus lol. Anyways, I'll be on it.

Also, thanks to I have no name, you did a good job with that program

replay 1: Tengu mode challenge as I described above
replay 2: Kappa mode challenge, dropping no focus from above
replay 3: Tengu mode challenge, only on Easy mode instead of normal

Dialogs are in Korean. As you can clearly see, taking off no focus doesn't help me at all on Normal... Even more embarrassing is that even on easy mode it makes no difference lol. I seriously have a problem with memorizing danmaku patterns...

My next challenge... Decided to go less harsh and picked fairy mode (yes, you may laugh lol) - IN Lunatic mode no focus

Oh, it doesn't have to be pixel perfect or anything, just eyeball it. There's no real enforcement in this, to be honest.

Updating the program specifics.  I'm trying to work out the exclusions but the random generation is a pain to get right.  Once I do that I just have to copy and paste with a few changes.

If you were playing with the vsync patch, that bug is nonexistent. (if its still there, enable the bugfix) and you were playing at 90fps, so yes, that bug should be cancelled out by vsync.

It won't be replayable to anyone else but those who use the vsync patch, and even then, those who have that function enabled, but fine.

That's how I've been interpreting it, yeah.

I kind of liked the idea of reversing them if you got the same one twice.

no bombs - no deaths
no vertical - no horizontal
only left - only right
