Finally i've cleared one of those silly random challenges Replay
That was actually my first time playing this game as Youmu, lol. So despite of finishing with full bomb stock i've seen only standard Youmu ending.
Also those two deaths with full trance are shamefull, so i need to improve this "achivement" and go for no-focus, no-trance, no-bombs, no-deaths TD easy with Youmu, cause only this (along with playing @ 120 fps) can make it look challenging :V

I believe vpatch works fine with ultra. I'd never play StB ultra without, so it works there at least.

I cant make it working with TD ultra (nor with english-patched normal one).

MS challenge got me somewhere early into Stage 2. There are enemies that chase me and I seem to fail at bombing, so onto my next challenge.

There you go. Game overed at Lyrica. I trapped myself a few times because I forgot what the stages are like, and Marisa is not a friend of no-focus runs.

I think you gave me the second worst character MMX. Only SakuyaA would have been worse, but they're close.

I made a nifty little program that automatically generates a random challenge after you give it the 'mode' you want to play on.
So far it has no other exceptions, meaning you could get a mutually exclusive challenge and can't say "no PC-98" or something like that, but if enough people want me to add that functionality I can do that.

Working on it, but it requires restructuring the 'challenge' part of the code a bit.  Done.  You can still roll no vertical and top half only but that's the only mutually exclusive set left and the logic for it is way more complicated then I would have guessed...I'll try to add it into any future versions.

Alright, back on this challenge, but I'd like to do it a little bit differently this time: I'll go with tengu mode at first, and then post a second replay that basically is the playthrough of the same game with one less wildcard (i.e. in kappa mode) and you can watch both just for comparison.

My first run of today gave me IN, Normal, Pacifist, no bomb, no focus. Sounds like it'll be a rough ride for me, especially with that no focus lol. Anyways, I'll be on it.

Hey this is pretty cool! But is there any way to re-roll any of the wildcards? I don't have the Ultra patch. I'd add that, in addition to no vertical and top half only, "pacifist" and "no bomb" could be considered conflicting wildcards, too.

Hey this is pretty cool! But is there any way to re-roll any of the wildcards?

Sadly no, with the way the program is structured I'm rolling all of them at once and checking for doubles, and re-rolling any that come up.  Re-rolling one (or more) would be a pain, and I don't know how to parse variable inputs.  Next update will probably include difficulty exclusion/game exclusion, if people don't mind 15 questions at the start (there will be an option to accept all as on for defaults).  Challenge exclusion results in all sorts of nasty situations with infinite loops though.  Just realized the way it's set up this requires doubling the length of the program with exclusive if statements, ugh.

Cleared mine, also goes down as my first no focus 1cc (and with Marisa of all people). Though I almost never play as Magic Team I did surprisingly okay at Reimu's fight. Eirin kicked my ass though mostly because I failed at bombing.

Also, just notice this when but you have down to reroll if you get a PC-98 game and no-focus, but you can actually use focus in both LLS and MS. Not sure if you want to change anything based on that but I just wanted to mention it.
