Panel went fairly well considering Sunday 8:30 A.M.

Will probably be looking through these tomorrow. I'm beyond dead on my feet and still have to fly home.

I changed out of the wig and shoes, but that's it. The outfit is all more or less street clothes outfide of the wig and hat anyway - T-shirt, vest, shorts and sneakers.

I had my jacket on most of the time, which means that all the terminal ever got a good view of was the banana yellow shorts sticking out from underneath a dark blue coat. This was especially important while eating 5G stuff because grease on cosplay clothes = no

I also wore the Dejiko hat around the airport because airports (and flight attendants) routinely think it's really funny.

Thanks for the fun times again, guys and gals! Since I couldn't take pictures myself (for obvious reasons) I hope to see lots more~
Man, I remember the days when all I did was walk around taking a bunch of pictures and wasting time at cons. Now that I've ended up being on the other side of the camera, it feels like I never have enough time!

Hahahaha that's 2 for 2 in that getup, but only because my good friend did Oktavia and everyone was OHSHIT WAT WAT. She be crazy (and the one who's going to help MJP make Gordon Freeman maybe next year) Ackson does go to AB, but I won't have room to bring Mami so there's no hope of continuing my streak :derp:

Welcome! And I totally know how you feel. I used to just walk around and take a zillion pictures (but I was in costume, it just wasn't very good hahaha) but not so much anymore :V

Odd, I'm a TSA Lead and I didn't see you roaming the airport, otherwise I would've said something to you... Hell, I even went to the panel for a few minutes, but ended up leaving because I had to get to work by 1pm.

What time did you fly out?

Turns out the week right before AB is my spring break and taking a plane (which isn't that much more than Amtrak and half the time even with airport shenanigans) back Sat night/Sun morning would get me home in time for Easter so my family doesn't kill me. It would just be me though since MJP doesn't have the vacation days, but getting Mizuki Hitoshi is so amazing I gotta give it a shot! Not 100% but I'm really looking into seeing how it can happen and it's looking pretty doable

Got to Reagan at about 3:30, flew out of Terminal C (US Airways) at 5:30.

You could have stuck around for the whole thing, it doesn't take two hours to get from Nat'l Harbor to Reagan. :[

3;30 I was fighting sleep while processing bags at the American checked baggage station. 4:30-5:30 I was unconscious in the breakroom because the con and the room parties finally caught up with me pretty hard at this point. To make it more fun, I didn't get off until 9:30 that night.

Now, now, I did manage to stay long enough to get a picture of the guy dressed up as Momiji. Besides, there's always Otakon to catch back up with you guys.

Also, while it might not take 2 hours to get from the harbor to work; it certainly takes a while to check out, drive home so I could sleep for an hour and a half, wake up, change out of my hoodie/jeans and put on my uniform, then frantically drive like Okuu outta hell to get to work on time.

Time can a very cruel mistress under those circumstances.
