>"A lot more interesting than the last few times I've been aboard a ship."
>"How'd she hold together during that storm last night? Kinda slept though half of it."

>"That's 'cause those other ships are boring," she replies with a grin. "And I bet you haven't even seen any of the cool stuff yet."
>"Takes a lot more than that to put this baby out of commission," she says. "She could fly through a storm three times that bad and come out the other side in one piece. Matter of fact, she has."

>"Ha!" She grins proudly. "I've been here since day 1. Used to be run-of-the-mill before I got my hands on her."

>"Welllll... I guess you could say she had 'potential'," she admits, "if you really wanted to. But she wouldn't be half the ship she is today if it weren't for me. Those secondary rotors? The gyro-stabilizers? Torque dampers? All me. And believe me when I tell ya, that storm would have been a heck of a lot different without 'em. I've been souping this baby up since the day I set foot on her."
>She carves another chunk from her pineapple and tosses it down the hatch.

>As you inquire about mechanical bedroom hazards, she pauses. A disturbing gleam starts to form in her eyes. "I... I think I like it."

>You can envision all sorts of disasters stemming from that suggestion.
>"Oh, she just told us," Ishi replies. "Not like it's a big secret or anything; lotsa youkai got a trick or two up their sleeves."

>Ishi nods. "I hear ya. Sleepywings' been with us for years, though; not much about each other we don't know by this point."
>She gives the ham another flip. "So was it is you can do?"

>Could we do that?

>With some time and care, perhaps. Of course, it would be very hard to tell one hammer from another without having dowsed the desired one in person first - heck, probably even then. As a rule of thumb, the more unlike an object is from its surroundings, the easier it is to spot. In that sense, a hammer in a forest would actually be a considerably easier job than one less in the middle of nowhere.
