Seiga's overdrive is apparently the hardest out of all of them. I wouldn't know, because I've only gotten as far as Demonify on Lunatic :colonveeplusalpha:

Oh it's really damn hard. Personally I found Kyouko's to be more of a pain though. I could deal with lasers and balls but not arrows and balls. That was simply too much. Seiga's card is quite weird because some people take forever to cap it, others do it right away. I think I had around 100 or so attempts to capture it and time it out, others at 900 and I think i saw someone capture it within 30 attempts or something like that. :V

That was a super fun challenge! Much more fun than the same in MoF or the more TD. And after two days of derping all over the place i've got used to this speed and managed to pull a pretty good run. I've captured 10 spellcards including Curse of Vlad Tepes and Scarlet Shoot

And i bombspammed Patchouli and Sakuya, because seriously. Though in some of my failed attempts i've captured Sylphae Horn high level, Water Elf and Lunar Clock out of nowhere.

For Seiga's overdrive. I find that at some point it kinda *clicks* into you.
Basically, for me, It took many many futile attempts until I realized just how fast and how far I have to move.
After that, I started surviving longer and longer and eventually landed a capture.

I tried EoSD Hard 90fps just to see how it is.

Everything's either too easy or too ridiculous. Not very fun imo.

E: Well I'll be fair and say that it IS quite very possible. I mean, the game is a deal easier than its Lunatic counterpart, and I can manage some of the harder spells even at 90fps which is a thing. :U

I finally have a Normal 1cc on every shooter in the series. You'd think it would have been UFO holding me back, but no, it was freaking SoEW with its massive bomb delay and freakish hitbox. Seriously, what is this?!

Yeah those bullets Mima uses at the end there are the worst offenders. The hitbox is literally bigger than the sprite.

Anyway...

PoDD Marisa 1cc! Another 2 death run. One to Reimu and one to Yumemi (as always). This leaves only three characters: Ellen, Kana, and Chiyuri (ignoring my semi-pacifist 1cc).

So, I got myself that Marine Benefit fangame today. It's surprisingly well done, and some of the patterns please me. The whole concept of a moving PoC is... I don't know.. funny?

Achievementwise, I perfected the first stage!, which is quite an achievement to me, given what my history with blindruns is. Took me three tries, whereas this usually should've taken twenty.

I got to Stage 6B in IN with the Magic Team with 5 lifes in stock.

Unfortunetly this is the Magic Team. Stage 6B is killer for them, and so is Kaguya, because you have to move quite a lot to dodge, and she... dosen't move much.

Unfortunetly I've only fought Kaguya a handful of times.

Unfortunetly I find Kaguya harder than Eirin.

Game Overed halfway through Rainbow Danmaku.

I'm still on my IN Normal 1cc's, but I as you can see on the upload date of the replays, I am busy with other things for a while, so it's more or less on and off...but I'm getting better nonetheless :3

I can feel my heart beat inside my ears and my hands smell like they've been in my fucking S-Bend from sweating so profusely.

But I did it, Touhou 8 Hard 1CC.

Accomplished with Border Team taking the Final A route.

This. Is the run in which everything I've learned just seemed to click, I capped several of Marisa's cards where I haven't even capped their Normal equivalents. The fight with Marisa was in general where I realised I was in with a chance since that fight went incredibly smoothly compared to how poorly I normally do. This also the run where I realised that the little stars have really quite small hitboxes and trusting your little box will get you through the nonspells.

I still fucking hate Double Spark/Master Spark though. Screw that card and screw it hard.

And not a single bomb wasted, while that's hardly difficult what with Border Team's huge ass deathbomb time but it still pleases me to know I used all of my resources efficiently and didn't let anything go to waste.

Eirin also went quite smoothly, once again capping a number of cards which I haven't done their Normal equivalents. I still blow chunks at Apollo 13 and don't have the balls to try the safespot.

I am just...extremely satisfied right now. IN was my first Normal 1cc and I'm pleased it was my first Hard 1cc.

PROGRESS. I AM MAKING IT.

EDIT: Lol I actually just remembered my first Hard 1cc was PoFV with Aya, but that was so easy to do that I practically don't count it. This is my first Hard 1cc that felt like a proper accomplishment to me.

Meh, normally if I'm that bad at a card that I'm going to get hit I normally just take the two bomb penalty since it'll outright murder the card. Normally bombing a card I'm bad at tends to result in me either bombing a second time, which is the same result or me using a bomb and THEN deathbombing resulting in a net loss of three bombs.

It's sort of more that I didn't die and lose a bomb, because even though it's really hard to do with IN, I've still managed to be a complete tit and do it anyway.

Huzzah! Another 1CC Normal of EoSD under the belt, this time with Marisa A default lives/bombs. I almost feel ready to graduate to Hard methinks. I managed to survive this time with a full two extra lives in stock, unlike my Reimu run where I ran out of everything by the end and barely finished. I picked several places as 90% autobombs based on my gut feeling as each attack progressed, and I think it worked to my advantage. Remilia's opener, which is notoriously clippy, was probably the smartest one. In practice mode I can ace it almost every time, but during full runs I swear I die to it every time (probably because I'm at Rank 32 by then). I plan to put both runs up on Youtube sometime soon with remixes... but for now, back to Flandre.

I think 1CCing with Solo Reimu is an extremely helpful experience actually, since you're kind of forced to thoroughly deal with most patterns due to her low damage output (low being "Time out Kaguya's last Spellcard without even wanting to do so"-low), at least for me it was a great preparation for Lunatic since Hard Mode hardly required strategies with the Border Team, at least I managed to get by at the time without having invested an awful lot of time in strategy development.

Oh hells yeah! Two 1CC Normals in one night

This time it's my first clear with SanaeB UFO. I even took some time out from resource-collecting to summon several blue UFOs along the way for kicks. Perfected almost all of Murasa except the survival card, did decently on Shou (only lost two lives I think?) and well on Byakuren until Air Scroll (upon which I slayed myself numerous times before thinking "JUST BOMB THIS SHIT"). One Reimu, two Marisa, and one Sanae left... *sigh*

The near-death derp dodge at Snake Show was hilarious, though.

Went from 0/28 on Cloudy Way in Purple to 2/30. Only ones left to capture on Hard are Hook Combo (should be easy, just lots of clipdeaths) and Radiant Treasure Gun (complete bull >_>)

Can't wait to actually try 1ccing this.
