This is what I use. You should definitely be able to set up the movement keys to WASD or something similar.

So in the middle of trying to time out Mountain of Faith on Easy, I somehow failed that and timed out the even harder card right before it.

also why is it that i always really settle into kanako's last card right AFTER dying to it

That is awesome. I watched your Suwako clear, and I have to say that capture of Moriya's Iron Ring was amazing. And I loved the way you settled into Mishaguji-sama.

The only real issues with it were Two Claps and One Bow (if you're consistently doing that badly I'd suggest misdirecting the streams before the card starts), and constantly collecting items in the upper right corner and then struggling to get back down (nothing wrong with using the upper center).

But seriously, congrats. First Extra clears are something to be proud of, and two in two days is just incredible.

Also, I don't fail Two Claps One Bow badly all the time. I can actually do it consistently the intended way.

Also, about Long Arm and Long Leg, I don't know HOW I captured that. That was just... WOW.

Whenever I actually unlock Stage 6 for practive mode I might try it (read: probably not anytime soon in regards to my current performance; you gotta admit, that's a pretty solid excuse)... just made it to Momiji but I'm horrible at lunatic Nitori (and derpin'; dying to her first nonspell because I looked at my keyboard, panicking, "where are all my buttons?! There are so many of them! Ah there!" *pashun*), always was. Maybe because I never actually tried to learn her lunatic spellcards... Gotta take care of that first I suppose.

Aside that I'm training against Shikeiki Lunatic in Match Mode, just like good ol' times. I feel like a cute little qno from last year.

okay so there's this thing where I always bs against Satori

like, TERRIFYING HYPNOTISM [HARD] 2D. bull.

and then there's how the game likes trolling you with bombs when

GHOST WHEELS OF BULL [HARD] 2D when the first death was because I was sure I had bombs but I pressed the button and UHH WHERE'S MY BOMBS UHHHHH BACK OFF BULLET FUCK FUCK FUCK

and then there's when you're one life piece short of a life with no bombs and you have to capture this card to get the life piece and

it turns out to be utsuho's second-last card

and you know you can capture it despite this being your first time even getting to utsuho

and you dodge shit with shaking-as-all-hell fingers for at least a minute

and you die a few seconds before capturing it

and you end up with a death and no extra life

but you notice you have two lives to spare

and you go to subterranean sun with a smug "lets do it" attitude

and you capture the damn card

and get that flippin' life piece anyway NOT THAT IT MATTERS

and you.... 1cc

THIS WASN'T EVEN A GOOD RUN. I panic-bombed my way through Stage 3 (I usually don't need to do that AT ALL) and lost a life to Parsee.. and the KOs mentioned above were bullshit and all and I STILL DID IT

for the same reason I got MoF

That's the last of them. It's funny though, I'm once again not playing Touhou as much (for different reasons), so I wonder just how useful this whole pet project of mine was. Oh well, at least I did get something good out of it.

I don't want to make four consecutive posts in my thread about it in the Tech Support subsection (Nobody tried to help after I noted the Vpatch helping with delayed reaction time but not the general problem with the topic).

It seems some people have that problem and others don't. The best I could tell you would be to just use Hypercam 2 or something, though there are other tech-oriented threads around here.

Oh god dammit guys at the very least do you have a recorder that produces high quality not-blurred video that can record at framerates higher than 60, include 60, have custom framerate alterations, I DON'T have to sync to the window of the game, and doesn't bog down my computer? I can't stand video lower than the highest standard when it comes to games that do not use much CPU at all.

Also, funny thing is, this happened right before Vsync was brought into the equation, but even if I run the game with the game's actual EXE file, Fraps still hates it.

Maybe there is just some problem with your computer? Like those early gen Touhous being harder for your PC to run than the newer ones. Something you won't notice when playing normally but will notice when trying to record them?

My laptop doesn't like to run EoSD very well, its got frequent dips to 50 FPS and its quite annoying. Yet, UFO and SA runs almost flawlessly. So it might just be some problem completely unrelated to your recorder.

And again, I did send a PM on the Tube but I can always record it for you.

My computer was able to do this completely fine before, for one. 2. SA has many more lag spikes than, say, PCB.

Also, as long as the video and audio quality aren't fucked up (And framerate), could you please record it?

I'd hate to be a picky bitch here but I don't want people thinking that I was suddenly being lazy for a day.

Top MoTK scores in EoSD Lunatic now done with ReimuA, MarisaA, MarisaB. Only the true final boss, 387M ReimuB by .ASP remains. It's actually pretty fun trying to make the game display big and beautiful numbers, who would've guessed.

Oh, right, nothing major, but FINALLY captured Repository of Hirokawa on Normal. It took me a long time to figure out the redirection, but now I can finally say I've captured all of Yuyuko's spells. There're only 2 Normal ones left for me, but they're the not-Lunasa Stage 4 solo spells, so...Yeah, that'll probably take me a bit.

This is actually my first touhou lunatic 1CC. It went out pretty messy with lots of stupid mistakes, also i've been distracted twice and left my computer on pause at some tough places. But i cleared it without continues, so who cares. :dragonforce:

Thanks. Actually i'm not feeling like celebrating right now. I've just had a goal to clear it and so i did, though any lunatic is still something beyond my skill, wich turns out in a derpy bombfest runs every time i try it. I'd better do a nice run on easier difficuly (like no bombs or something) than just bruteforce my way to clear harder one by any means. But yeah. I still feel like i've accomplished something BV

Ten Desires is one of the harder lunatics. Even EoSD is easier than it IMO, I've 1cced EoSD lunatic but haven't even reached Seiga in a TD lunatic attempt.
