Iwafune Ascending to Heaven Lunatic timeout. [245 tries]

This is... by FAR my biggest TD achievement. Five times harder than the Honour the Avoidance of Defiance Lunatic timeout and ten times harder than the Iwafune Ascending to Heaven Hard timeout w/ no-focus Youmu. Yes, the gap between Lunatic and Hard in this spell is THAT big. On non-Lunatic difficulties, I could make it so the waves were always easy to navigate through, only due to my movement. You can't do that on Lunatic - the waves are more dense and more close to eachother. Most of the times you're facing waves that require extreme precision to dodge. And then she just throws those retarded arrows at you and HNNNNGGGH I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.

Obviously, there were no such impossibly hard waves in this run, which is why I got it in this run. It was... quite the thing.

Congratz, man! I still can't beleive it took me 87 tries to do this with Marisa It was some incredible luck i suppose. Never again!

Haven't been playing touhou much, well haven't been motivated at all, managed to do a Hard-mode EoSD since i've touched everything else but EoSD.

Outcome - 1cc 2/3 with final score of 190M.

I got past Patchouli in EoSD Lunatic and made it to Sakuya's second nonspell. Double K.O. at the end of it, but I don't really care that much.
I think I should start working on EoSD Lunatic. Hard isn't too much trouble for me anymore and it's about time I got my first Lunatic 1cc since I've been playing Touhou for just over a year. Well, I did spend a couple of months without a computer but whatever, I still want to get this done.

Iwafune Ascending to Heaven Lunatic no-focus timeout is... possible, but way too luck-based for a sane person to deal with.

Which probably explains why I've dealt with it for like 200 tries now, and am likely to continue.

I did that a while ago and arrows where what usually killed me. It seems weird given how few of them there, but it happens.

After motivated to do Iwafune Ascending to Heaven Lunatic time-out, i got pissed off and ragequited. I come back again to re-do it after a week, trying to get no focus, timeout, such that it was a success: Replay

Was wandering that this should be in special challenge for Touhou Tournament, to try get the highest point value, since it involves graze whoring and shot-gunning at the same time.

Reimu A, because she has the easiest Patchouli battle and she makes collecting power in stage 1 easier.

That's who I used for my lunatic 1cc, I ended up clearing my second attempt getting to Remilia, my first ended at her first card. You're really close to getting it.

I used MarisaB for my first lunatic 1cc (EoSD).
Basically, after resource managing to get to Remillia with like 2-3 lives,
it all depends on not derping up on her, especially things like Scarlet Gensokyo lolol.
If you can dodge that reliably, 1cc should come soon. I've had gameovers on that card.

Just 1cc'd SA once again ^^
As a personal victory, I'm now able to get past Orin with relative ease, and then Okuu's now the main killer(although it's mostly her opening spell , meltdown, and artificial sun that get me)

More practice, more practice, and then go to EoSD Hard Mode.

Ok, finally cleared that annoying Sanae extra stage (Marine Benefit), where I consistently derp on every single possible place.
The clear was made possible by gaining the last live on the last spell,
through grazing with the invincibility right after the last bomb wears off - I proceeded to die almost right after.

I dodged the PCB Stage 6 spam. On lunatic. With Sakuya. In about 10 tries.
Sanae's first spell took more tries to avoid than this...

Oh hey 3DNB EoSD extra run.
deaths were to the survival, QED and Kagome Kagome.

Also perfect MoF Stage 5 lunatic up to Moses Miracle, with a timeout of her opener.
I tried timing out Moses Miracle for cactu, but it wasn't fun and I died 6 times. (did last 22 seconds, enough to capture it-I died later on though, so I didn't spoil a perfect MoF lunatic Stage 5)

Perfected Ichirin three times in a row. I'm getting more and more consistent on King Kraken Strike. In fact, I'm failing the final one more. :V

Ten Desires extra clear, with Sanae.
2 to go on my project to clear all extras with all shot types.
This was easily my worst run yet, dying to Scrolls of Frolicking Animals (with full trance AND 3 bombs) and to her second spell.
The only reason I won is because I 1 bombed Wild Deserted Island.
Oh and I double KOed on my last life in stock so yeah that's that.
Only 2 Marisa types remain (A in SA, B in UFO)

Also, improved my VoWG history to 2/20-by capturing it in the same run as a 1 miss timeout of Yamato Torus.

In other news, I fired up PoFV today after having played only Cave shooters for the past few months. Ended up 1ccing Lunatic with Reisen. Did not see that coming.
