> Enough of this tomfoolery. Head back to our normal waiting place near the entrance to the outside.

>You've done well for yourself, but it's time to get back to work.
>You depart from the two faeries while they coo over the pearl and make your way back to the main tunnel. The trip is uneventful, you think the faeries searching around have probably moved further out.
>You now have a few good options of where to hide. Previously, you were just outside the area leading down to the bridge to the Ancient City. There is a nice spot in the chamber just before that, people tend to watch the fissures rather than the ceiling. And finally, there's the point where the path toward the bat warren branches off from the main way, people tend to let their attention be drawn toward the branch rather than above.

>You wait for the person to come. You don't think it would be the farmer, unless he left and is coming back...
>From the southern entrance, a tall and thin tengu emerges. You've not seen her before; you've not seen any tengu pass through here, though you hear that they do from time to time from Yamame. She is reasonably well dressed, with straight black hair that extends past her shoulders and a thin, strong face. She doesn't seem to be glancing toward the ceiling at all.

I'll try. Saw him in #s_l earlier, but he seems to have vanished.
