> Doesn't look like we could gauge it out with our knife or rebar, so we'll just try to remember our way back here when we get a more appropiate tool for the job. It'll be our saved up treasure in case we get really unlucky with our muggings a some point.
> How hungry are we?
> Follow the descending tunnel up ahead to see where it leads to.
> Things are pretty desperate if we're thinking of hawking quartz. Gotta get some real shine on these boots...so to speak.
> Listen for the faerie, make sure she's not tailing us.
>You decide to try to remember where this is, in case you get desperate later. But really, this wouldn't be all that easy to hawk to anyone but a magician that needs quartz for some reason.
>Right now you are not particularly hungry, but you wouldn't say no to a meal, either.
>You listen for the faerie, and it doesn't seem like she's following you. But if she's flying there's a good chance you wouldn't hear her anyways.
>You continue to follow the tunnel as it twists around and descends down further into the earth. The walls and floor are rough at first, but you note that they smooth more and more as you go further onward, while small stalactites cling to the ceiling. Here and there, you note little patches of moss, which confirms there's some kind of water in this area, somewhere.
>Up ahead, you can see the tunnel flare out to what seems to be a fairly large chamber.
