EDIT: What the hell is a prescott?  I might note this is on the japanese wiki on the list of captureable monsters by the way, and it's on the first stratum.

How the heck do I put, more damage output against the Tower rematch bosses, seriously I've been doing lolwutunub damage during my rounds with the tower boss rematches.

I have the higher up weapons, shikigami that are useful, know their weaknesses and flaws, and high craft armor. 

Does it have to do with the fact that level 37s are not cutout to be doing the rematch tower bosses yet?  :derp:

It's one of those monsters whose name changes after you recruit them, and it's a computer chip (specifically, a processor).

For those that didn't "get it", Prescott was a code name for one of the Pentium 4 cores.  IIRC the enemy also has "IV" on the core of its die :3

The same strategy still totally shuts down the first tower redux fight, but you might need a few levels for the other ones.

I had a feeling,  that must of been why I was not dealing enough damage on the 2nd and 3rd tower rematch bosses.

I just need to get a few stuff ready for the first Tower boss then find some means to do more damage.

Since MP is going to be my biggest gripe for the 1st Tower rematch boss.

Anyways, I'm confused as hell on how you get to the bottom areas of the third stratum. I've been to the endless desert and that's for the final tower, so that leaves the 'foggy' area where you get on the boat which should be near the leftmost tower. The question is, how am I supposed to get the other exits in that area, especially since there's three exits and I'm at the first exit?  EDIT: ... you can't be serious, there WERE secret passages? Welp, disregard that question I was asking.

And I have most of the monster hunting done in the previous stratum including the few huntable monsters in the second tower and started getting less than half the list on the general third stratum, so go me!  :toot:

Also, it has been two weeks since the 1.12 patch and more than four weeks since 1.11 which was the last patch with actual changes. Which leads me to suspect that the quote that was said earlier in the contest might just be referring to the expansion.

Fog patches.  Try going through them.

Bump because the Translation Thread for DoD has arisen.

Don't go in and expect there to be any patch to download, because they've only just begun translation. But I know that most people don't stalk that part of the board for things like this (like I do *cough*), so just gettin' the word out there, mostly for the sake of possibly notifying any japanese -> english translators or someone who can image edit rather then just getting everyone excited for something that isn't quite available yet!

And now another bump because the expansion was announced.
So far, looks like we're getting an increase in the level cap to 99, three new characters (Kasen, Toyohime and Yorihime), a monster encyclopedia, new weapon skills, better Last Words, and nothing from TD.
It's going to be released on this next Reitaisai.

Oh hey the super last words are actually pretty rape-level now! As well as have their own animations. And looks like some old skills they've gone back and made beautiful, which is awesome because I thought some of the old animations were somewhat lacking, at least in comparison to GoS.

Given that it was posted on 5/01 and that there was the twitter that said they would add in easy mode into GoS (or whatever that actually means), I came to the conclusion that it was likely a remake of GoS.

Besides, if they're remaking GoS, I hope Akyuu makes it as a playable character this time.

It's still somewhat unclear exactly what the GoS thing is (Other then containing easy modo and being GoS-based), although now that a page is up, someone who can read japanese should be able to get a better idea.

It might not be a remake of GoS as much as an easier version, or it may be a remake that simply contains/is also like an easy mode.That fact that it has it's own page and such makes me think it's possibly more significant then just GoS Easy Mode, though, but :shrug:

Well, most of these are understandable, but there are two details that google translation messed up:

Effects are lessened. So this means less status lockdowns from foes. Hopefully this doesn't mean a nerf on your own effects.

You won't have to leave a dungeon before you obtain the items you got in it anymore. That will avoid some heart attacks.

I'm... a bit scared on the effects part.

Youmu's MP also looks -way- too high in that image, considering that she has the second-lowest mp stat in the game (119 at lv70). Maybe she's got MP boosting equipment on. It feels too hopeful to think they just significantly boosted her MP growth. (Everyone else's mp looks pretty much what it should be considering levelups and shikigami passive boost)

aren't actually playable characters - look closely at the part of the trailer where 6 screens go on at once, where they show up as shikigamis. Man, I wanted them as playable characters, but eh, I guess I can live with this fact.
