>The others just exchange glances.

>Youmu looks about to step closer, but thinks otherwise.
>"I'm sorry...?" she cautiously and quietly apologises.
>Sakuya groans, "How much more time do you need? I can slow or stop time around us, so make your choice..." she murmurs, raising her fingers to her forehead... "I bet Lady Remilia will be rather angry at my absence.. I'll just reverse time and fix it when their asleep. Time paradoxes..." she sighs, speaking to herself.

>I had to Google this, It would take about 45-50 minutes, if they were both at the same time.
>Sakuya sighs, "And you want about an hour of time? I can slow time around Youmu, so it'll look like it can be done in less time. I'll just do that." she takes out her pocket watch, and within seconds it looks like Youmu is travelling and nearly light-speed. It takes her only a matter of seconds. She then stops beside Sakuya, in normal time, with large servings of curry and udon on a large tray. Even she looks confused. "You're welcome." Sakuya murmurs, sitting back down next to Reimu, who is drifting in and out of sleep on the ground.

>Muse a bit. "Though I do wonder what your mistress would enjoy? Perhaps one of Hakugyoukurou's finest wines would suffice? They're quite nice. I was intending to bring one to the festivities back during the Gathering Mist Incident, but Yukari got in my way that time~"

>Sakuya bows her head, "You're welcome,"
>"Unless the wine is blood wine you've got no chance!" Reimu jokes. Sakuya quietens her with a look as sharp as her knives.

>You hear collected screams as three gaps open, one spilling the Taoists, another spilling the Buddhists and Yukari walking out of the third one.
"Sorry for the delay~" sings Yukari, whilst shared utterings of confusion pour from the newcomers.

>"Not feast.. a fight." corrects Mononobe no Futo. Toyosatomimi no Miko, Yoshika Miyako, Seiga Kaku and Soga no Tojiko all nod in agreement.
"Well, anyway, greetings to you. You are... Yuyuko Saigyouji, am I correct?" Byakuren speaks in a tender manner. Shou gets up to her side, with a neutral face.
"Is everybody here?" demands Yukari, smiling. Byakuren and Miko perform head-counts.
 People here:
Toyosatomimi no Miko, Mononobe no Futo, Soga no Tojiko, Seiga Kaku, Yoshika Miko,
Byakuren Hijiri, Shou Toramaru, Murasa Minamitsu, Ichirin Kumoi, Unzan and Nazrin.
Reimu looks up, and is startled by the amount of people.
"..So, whilst we're here, we may as well complete what we were about to start." Shou brushes herself down.
"Shou, please, we have to fight fairly, at least!" Nazrin pleads.
"Anyway!!" Murasa interrupts.
"We were going to ask if you would take sides with us, Yuyuko." Miko asks.
"No, take sides with us!" Ichirin reprimands, shooting Miko an angry glare.
"Quiet!!" Yukari stops them, "Let Yuyuko speak, if you wish her to answer!!" she looks to you.

>That stops them in their tracks. They confer between each other. Before long, the "leaders" turn around and speak in unison,
"If it's not an inconvenience, we haven't eaten all day because SOMEONE fought with us." Byakuren and Miko say at the same time, before looking at each other confused. At a glance, everyone in the two opposing parties looks exhausted but determined to come out superior.
>Reimu nudges Youmu in the shoulder, smirking, "Looks like you're going to be busy!" she says, chuckling at her terrible joke. Nobody laughs or pays attention to her joke, much to her dismay.

Start asking them about their lives, particularly about rarities and delicacies they have eaten.  Start talking about how much you like food.  And how much work it takes to find new dishes. And how you traveled all over Gensokyo looking for food when the Night incident happened.

Also mention how the poor shrine maiden here really shouldn't have to be here, but if she flips out from hunger..well we can understand.

>As you speak, people answer in turn, laughing and listening intently to everyone and even forgetting what they were fighting about.
"So... I take it you don't eat human much then..?" Nazrin had asked.
"Humans taste nice!!" Yoshika had interrupted her.
"I remember some of the ships I used to sink had a lot of cool food on.." Murasa had mused.
"I don't go out much for food.." Seiga once bursted out, nobody had listened.
"Miko, didn't you say that you had lots of ancient cookbooks?" Byakuren asked her nemesis with all of the politeness of two long-lost sisters.
"Yes, they were destroyed in a small accident however, I remember a lot of recipes..." Miko had replied.

"I am definitely here by choice!!" Reimu insists. Everyone laughs. She's obviously getting a little delirious.
"Yuyuko, you are a genius.." Yukari whispers into your ear.
"How... they're just talking like old friends... not like... arch rivals.." Sakuya stutters.
"Yes, Lady Yuyuko, you always were able to calm people.." says Youmu.

>Yukari exclaims quietly, looking over to the group.

>I guess the imminent fighting and suddenly-forgotten tension has driven her a bit loopy.
>You stay on guard, Yukari, Sakuya and Youmu all taking the hint too.
>All you can remember is that you liked exotic food tastes, but not in such quantities as you do now. Maybe death increases one's appetite~..
>"Oh, my!!" Byakuren cried. All eyes turned to the fact that Futo had just shoved Murasa after a minor argument. Their respective team "leaders" separate them and quickly apologise to the other leader and returned to the conversation they had been having.

>True, so true. You never see a fat ghost, do you?
>On observation of the group, you can see how tension is high, yet everyone is desperate to keep a polite outlook. Murasa and Futo, however, look ready to claw at the other's throat the second the opportunity arose.

>Yummy udon~..

>Does tiredness make humans loopy? Reimu has fallen asleep and is sprawled out in a star-shape. Sakuya is keeping away from everyone, ready to step in the second a fight starts. Youmu is with her, and the pair are exchanging awkward pleasantries in the form of forcibly necessary small-talk.

start talking with Murasa.

"Murasa dear, I have some books on ship building, but they don't seem to agree with each other, one of them says I could use Sakura-wood, but the other one insists on Oak."

>Murasa is distracted. Yay!
"Oh, that's a matter of choice," she says, "Oak is good for big, passenger-filled ships on long-haul journeys. Sakura-wood is better for smaller, stylised boats as it's a much lighter wood. I always think oak is better, though..."
Futo is distracted by poking Reimu in the stomach with Nazrin, both of them laughing loudly as Reimu twitches in her sleep.

>"Well, I'd love to help if you struggle! I'll have to visit and see it when you're done."

>Miko stands up, smiling, "Well, Yuyuko, thanks for the hospitality but.. Who will you side with? This fight will happen with or without you, however, but with you it will be quicker. I have a busy schedule which I don't wish to interrupt."
Everybody looks at her, in silent agreement. Sakuya and Youmu have stood up, moving Reimu and shaking her awake.
"So much for a pleasant gathering..." Yukari sighs.

Or we can do this:

>"Why do we need violence? I think there's a better way."
>Look at Youmu.
>"Whoever catches Youmu first wins."
>"You should start running, Youmu."
>"Oh, but if I catch Youmu first, you all have to stop fighting."
>"Yukari, Reimu, Sakuya, you can be the judges."
>"Go!"

Yes, we're solving a millenium-old dispute by playing tag. Why?
