>Orin shrugs, "I guess it was because Marisa was heading back to the surface. And by excited, I mean jumpy. She was so desperate to catch Marisa, it was as if Marisa had stolen something even more precious to her!" she shouts as she swerves past several droning fairies. The light at the end of the wind tunnel is approaching fast. Soon, the chase will be underway. Above ground.

"Marisa isn't stealing little koishi's heart!"

Wonder if Koishi's condition even lets her fall in love.

>Orin shrugs and picks up her pace faintly as you both exit the tunnel and into the harsh sunlight of Gensokyo. The kasha shields her eyes, squinting for any sight of Marisa or Koishi.
"No sign of them... do we head to the Forest of Magic? I heard a rumour from one of the oni that the girl Marisa mentioned - Alice - lives there. Maybe she is good friends with Marisa.." Orin speaks to herself, almost.

Scrach behind Orin's ears.

"Sounds reasonable to me. She built those annoying dolls Marisa had last time right?"

>Orin purrs absently, "That was her. She makes dolls for a hobby or a living, or something. She's a bit creepy, you know, from what the oni have told me." Orin nods her head and takes off high into the sky, looking for a forest. Not before long, she points at a forest of bamboo. "Satori-sama! It's the forest!! Let's go~!" she grabs your hand gently and steers you in it's direction. Somehow it doesn't look too magical...

>Orin shrugs, "It looks like a forest..."
You see orbs of rainbow danmaku mixed with fire shoot into the air and dissipate into nothing. Orin shrugs yet again, "Looks magical enough, right, Satori-sama? No sign of Marisa or Koishi.." she observes as you both settle on the ground. You see odd bits of rainbow and fire flying past in a clearing up ahead.

>You walk forward into the clearing and narrowly miss bullets fired at you. Orin screams and dives in front of you as a protective shield. The bullets stop. You look to either side of you to see a black-haired girl in a pink and red kimono-like outfit, and to the other side is a silver-haired girl in red pants with 'charms' on them, suspended onto a faded blouse. You recognise them from a book you read once. Kaguya Houraisan and Fujiwara no Mokou.
"What do you think your doing?" Kaguya shouts, with a small smirk.
"Get out of the way, you'll burn to death!" Mokou shouts over Kaguya. It doesn't take a genius to realise these two are full of animosity. Orin hisses at both of them, holding one arm behind her to shield you.
"Have any of you seen a magician in black and white as well as a girl in yellow, green and a black hat, who may have had some blue wires spiralling around her?" Orin shouts. Kaguya and Mokou shrug at each other.
"I've seen the black-white before, but that was ages ago. I haven't seen her since. Humans like her don't cross through the Bamboo Forest of the Lost too often." Mokou mumbles.
"So... this isn't the Forest of Magic?!" the kasha before you squeals.
"Nope. You aren't even close to it, you know~!" Kaguya butts in, laughing,

Can we try to see what the forest of Magic looks like in their minds?

"Whats Bamboo?" cut them off once they start to answer, don't both listining to them speak.

>You see it is an often rainy place filled with magic mushrooms. Seems odd. They probably know where it is.

>Mokou and Kaguya simply laugh. "You don't know what it is? Look around you, kid, every single plant in here is pretty much bamboo.." Mokou giggles. Kaguya is obviously inebriated with laughter, too much so to answer.

>Mokou shrugs, "First, fly up out of here, then continue due west. You should come across a forest with magic mushrooms in it. There are two houses next to each other. Alice Margatroid and Marisa Kirisame live in them. Good luck~" Kaguya trills irritatingly. Orin shudders, nods at you before flying up into the air with you in tow. She looks around for any sign.
"Uh.. which way is west?" she looks at you curiously.

>Orin shudders, "If Kirisame has done something to Koishi, hopefully that magician will end up in my wheelbarrow. I would be obliged to tie her to it myself." You genuinely cannot disagree.
Before long, you touch down outside two houses, and there are trees and mushrooms stretching to unfathomable distances. You glance between the two houses. One has the curtains closed, yet one has them open. Through the curtainless windows you see a girl with short blonde hair sewing a doll. She sees you, and fumbles to shut her curtains. Obviously, that is not Marisa. You head towards the other house, but Orin beats you to it by attempting to kick the door down.
"Open up, you coward!! Let us in this instant!! What have you done with Koishi?!" she screams. Behind the door, you sense two minds. One of them is unresponsive, possibly unconscious, and the other seems panicked. You can hear the thoughts of it... Crap, they're here.. ze... I have to hide her and say that she went back home... damn it, that crazy cat is going to scratch my face off... I hope I can hide the aftermath from those bleeding spellcards... that Koishi is out cold.. I did tell her to 'get out of the way'...

>Orin backs up and charges through the door. It smashes open and she looks around. You both notice the disaster zone of the house. It looks like Marisa exploded something. Orin shouts, "Koishi? Koishi!!" she is silenced by Marisa, having 'appeared' next to her, patting her on the shoulder.
"Koishi ain't here, kitty-cat. Gave up chasing me and went, uh, back to where you lot live." she blatantly lies. You detect that Koishi's unresponsive mind kicks back in.  She's awake, at least. Orin kicks Marisa to the floor, pinning her down.
"Satori-sama! Look for Koishi! I know she's in here, look, there's her hat!" she nods over at Koishi's favourite black hat with yellow ribbon. Hopefully she's not injured.

>Did Marisa just have a thought regarding Koishi's location? If so, follow that information. If not: "Hello, Marisa. Where's my sister?" She'll try not to think about it, but that is always garunteed to fail.
>Either way, enjoy the inevitable 'oh, shit' reaction when Marisa realizes she can't lie her way out to a mind-reader.

>Marisa didn't. It looks like she actually is a master of deception. "I don't know where your sister is, dammit!! I told ya's, she wen' 'ome like anybody else would!!" she insists. Then you get a glimmer of a thought from her. A cupboard.
>As you look around for a cupboard, you feel another presence at the destroyed door. "Marisa, why the hell did you bring the underground people up here?!" the new person demands. After about a second, you feel a sharp hit on the back of the neck, and as you spiral into unconsciousness, you hear Orin shout for you..

>You awaken to find yourself in a very cramped broom closet. You find that you have been tied up. You look around for any sign of anybody. Orin and Koishi. Koishi is.. back unconscious again and she looks extremely bedraggled. Orin is next to her, in the same torn and worn state as Koishi and tied up like you. Koishi is the only one unconscious, from what you can tell, she will be for some time. It looks like Marisa and the other person wanted to keep you out of their way. Outside, you hear voices... "Marisa, now what do we do?! You destroyed all of the spellcards you pilfered, so how are we supposed to study them?!"... you recognise the voice as Alice Margatroid. The silly doll-maker.

>You smirk. It looks like Orin had the same thought to.
>Quickly shrinking into cat form and then back, she quickly unties the ropes in ultimate silence. Creepy silence. Koishi, still unconscious, just flops down to the ground. Orin picks her up, leaning her against the wall gently. In her mind, you see vast panic for Koishi's safety.. poor Orin!
>You quickly mind read. It is true. She tried to use one, a massive explosion occured and the others were dissolved into nothingness. Brilliant(!)

>As you exit the closet, you make note of Marisa's "hostage keeping" skills. If you could even call them skills!
>You are out of rhe closet, and Orin has Koishi held with little effort. Alice and Marisa are still in the room, surprised at your escape. Alice looks pretty angry.
"The two Komeijis and.. Orin. How nice to see you." the dollmaker hisses through her teeth.
