>Bow politely to Keine. "Well, this was both enjoyable, and fruitful. If you ever want to visit the underground, just send a letter."

>"I shall indeed. I hope you wouldn't mind if I bring Mokou, should I decide to visit?" Keine asks, almost rhetorically.

>Turn to Yukari. "Well, shall we be off?"

>Once you are out of earshot of Keine, Yukari scoffs, "Little Keine-chan thinks that just because she defends humans, every other youkai is a brutal, murderous maniac, and that only she is the civilised one in all of Gensokyo. Trust me, she's very adept at hiding it, but she was almost disgusted that both of us were there. I could tell it from her sickly sweet manner. Said manner is her way of saying 'I hate you but am too mature and civilised to say!' but, however, how she could act that way around you did shock me... She didn't even know you. Of course, the humans' reactions may have instigated that. And of course she absolutely detests me, for reasons you possibly already can guess~" Yukari takes a small breath, "So the ground between her and I is unstable, as you know. The only one she truly cares about is her dumb fiery bird and... oops." Yukari stops as she sees a long silver-haired girl in red pants pass her, but seem unfazed by her comment, "Never mind. That was Mokou, Keine's mad love subject. Surprised? So was I. I met that Mokou during the eternal night incident, and guess who protected her? Keine~!"

Damn Kaguya... at least that's not a permanent injury. Keine is going to lecture me: AGAIN. I'm immortal, and I don't need anyone to tell me what to do. Not complaining! Chill, Mokou, Keine's a dab-hand at knowing when I'm angry. Chi~ll.

The were-hakutaku-human-protecter versus the satori-underground-maiden. I can sense the news spreading already~" Yukari smiles.

>"Oh, please, it's better than being predictable. I always like to talk to the 'strange' people... It's like Reimu when she's drunk, bless her~! She knows nothing about the pictures Aya took of her whilst in a drunken stupor. Oh, don't mention that to her.." Yukari giggles, whilst looking at you with a small secretive glint in her eyes.

>"That is why you're free to have some copies of those photos should you ever want to~" Yukari pokes her tongue out, giving you a small wink.

>"But enough of that, I have to make sure that the Ancient City has enough housing. If not, the Oni will have to work overtime. So we should return now."

>Yukari opens a gap beside her, and through its tunnel-like appearance you see the outside of your home. Yukari gestures in to it.

>"Doesn't everybody?" the gap-youkai smiles. "Everybody has their own means of fun."

>You head through the gap, and see another one beside you leading to the Ancient City. Yukari really is ahead of things.

>You enter the Ancient City.
>It usually seems rather empty, and even though it has many oni in there, there always seems to be space left over. There may be just enough space, but since the oni tend to live in large houses full of spare rooms and empty space, there probably would be enough for several groups or families to live in one as a sort of quick-fix house with a little more finesse to it.
>You see Yamame and Kisume testing the bucket-tram maximum weight. So far they have managed to fit 6 drunken oni into it. Good going. It doesn't even looked cramped.
>Yukari steps to your side, "Well, well, it looks like they have more space than they know what to do with. You could fit most of Gensokyo in here, actually.. scratch that, all of Gensokyo in here with only one or two cramped spaces. Expansions would be better for making one's way around without being in too much of a crowd, but it's not as if nobody could walk at all.." Yukari muses, half to herself.
>Behind you, you hear several triumphant shouts followed by a small firework blast. Looks like Yuugi and Okuu have the firework display underway. Everything seems to be going to plan. So far.

>Exactly. Yet. But, since the incident with the evil spirit geyser not too long ago, she's managed to calm down considerably. Maybe most of her pent-up rage was spent.

>Exactly. Not to mention Oni are quite strong, therefore having a lot of muscle, not to mention considerably taller. It would definitely work. Yamame and Kisume point a thumbs-up and you and Yukari.

>"Or, if you want, I can just expand it with the border of big and small. Just say the word. It would save time and save the Oni and yourself some work." Yukari smiles sweetly. She really is  all for this festival. We must make sure to ask her about whether she has actually participated in a festival lately. She seems to be full of nostalgia and excitement, so probably not.

>"Hmm..actually, I had an idea for the Battle Festa. You see, even danmaku leaves collateral damage. So I just got the idea for what the arena should be, and you are the only one who can create Sub-worlds, thanks to your powers."
>"So my idea is this. When the time comes for the Battle Festa, you could create a sort of Alternate Underground, specifically for the battles that will take place. So that way, participants who normally have to hold back in Danmaku, can go all-out with little fear of massive collateral."
>Smirk. "It should make for a much more spectacular show that way, wouldn't you agree?"

>"Exactly my thought. I would have to open two different ones. One completely empty one for the participants, and one adjacent transparent one for the spectators. It would be brilliant to see a no-holds-barred Danmaku fight... I daresay Miss Yagokoro would be run off of her feet~" Yukari giggles.

>Smirk. "It should make for a much more spectacular show that way, wouldn't you agree?"

>"Indeedy." Yukari smirks along with you.
>"Mind your head!!" You hear Yamame shout as a bucket whizzes inches above your head, making a few strands of your hair waver in the breeze. Kisume waves and shouts an apology as she zooms to the other end of the bucket-tram, the 6 Oni in the bucket with her.

>"And we shall have to make sure that none of Orin's charges are capable of causing trouble. Perhaps we could make another sub-dimension to momentarily seal them in until after all the humans have departed."

>"But can't she just keep them under control? It sounds as if you don't trust her to keep them reined in..." Yukari asks you with a curious yet solemn face.

We were able to remove them with little fuss though, as we had caught them before they had a chance to fully root."
>"And Orin, having been a participant in the resolution herself, will also be attending, and I doubt that I can find her an assistant in time. So I've decided to ask you to temporarily seal them away until after the festival."

>"And Orin, having been a participant in the resolution herself, will also be attending, and I doubt that I can find her an assistant in time. So I've decided to ask you to temporarily seal them away until after the festival."

>"Well, I could lend her Chen for a while. The little nekomata is a friend of hers, from what I know.. Also, Chen is fairly skilled in black  magic, not to mention she has actually learnt a thing or two from playing with Orin in the past. It would be a simple matter of bribing Ran to leave her alone and Chen would be Orin's assistant! What do you think?" Yukari offers with a kind look.

>"Hmm...That could indeed work. It would no-doubt be a valuable experience for both as well. But I still don't want to take any chances during the festival."

>"If you don't want to take any chances, then you can by all means have Ran there as well. Ran is one of the most diligent and focused shikigami in existence. I have yet to see one better." Yukari smiles triumphantly, proud of her servant which is not even here. "But I'm sure Chen will want to spend time with Orin whatever the circumstances. Before I set out to house-sit earlier today, she asked me to say hello to Orin. I kept a gap open in your house, which is connected to my house in Mayohiga so Chen can come through when I allow Ran to allow her. In fact, it's still open. I should check on it~" she smiles.

>Yukari smiles, opening yet another gap that leads back to your own house. She steps through it and then through the one to her own house.

>Koishi looks up at you with a bewildered, dust-smudged face.
>"But Orin and I were just walking and then I tripped and landed here... Satori, there's something fishy about Miss Yukari and... it scares me!" she whimpers, lokking over her shoulder into the gap, where Orin can be seen sternly talking to Yukari.
"...yet you decide to gap about as you please! Koishi could've been seriously hurt!" reprimands the kasha with folded arms.
"Kitty-cat, calm down~! No need to get so defensive~, so let's put the claws away like a good little cat!" Yukari giggles, condescendingly. This only angers Orin further.
"Don't talk down to me like that!"
"Orin, go and vent to someone with time!! I'm a busy woman. I'll drop you off to a friend of mine, Yuuka Kazami. She'll be more than happy to sort you out!" concludes a stern Yukari, opening a gap behind Orin and pushing her through it, firmly sealing it shut after the kasha has fallen through.
"Orin..!" feebly gasps Koishi, "See, Satori, I told you Miss Yukari is bad news! Don't trust her!! Even Reimu is cautious around her and they're supposedly good friends!!" Koishi frantically and quietly gabbles.
