For me, my favorite one is not really the most memorable ones.

The most memorable ones for me is Mokou's turtles because it embodies just what is wrong with Aya's movement speed. Same thing with that Ceiling of whatever. However the later isn't terribly hard for me nowadays. Captured it pretty effortlessly last time i tried it. There is also that Ten Kings card 10-4, i think, of Shikieiki. I remember I was stuck there forever failing at something that wasn't even that bad.

So yeah, the cards that annoyed me the most are also the cards I find most memorable. The most awesome card in it is probably 5-5, mainly because of the Ultra version. Komachi also has this very cool one with a lot of bullets, some of them being aimed. It was called Old Rain-something. I don't recall its full title. Two of Rans scenes are also buckets of fun. The one where you have to race around this wall of amulets and the one where she goes Ketsui style on you.

That's the most enjoyable scenes that springs to mind right now. I'm not really able to point out a No.1 favorite as the Photography games contain many cards of great entertainment value.

In terms of concept, I really liked Cleansed Crystal Judgment, because the idea of Shikieiki summoning Aya's sinful self to do battle with Aya is extremely cool. But because it was a static card, it was also boring after a while. Pandemonium is by far the most memorable card in StB for me.

... and so is Seamless Ceiling.

What is this 'Shoot the Bullet' of which you speak?
Considering I suck at t and don't find it fun, I'm forced to pick from, oh, the first 3 stages. Going to have to go with Minus K, for lack of a possible pool of choices.

10-8 Judgement "Cleansed Crystal Judgement -Aya Shameimaru-"
7-2 Devil Sign "World in Nightmare" and the rest of Shiki's cards are the other ones that i enjoyed the most.

6-4. Dodging ultra-fast Youmu was fun, but what really interested me when I first faced this card was when I realized that I had to use Aya's camera's ability to slow things down to capture Youmu before she zipped away.

The runner-up for me is EX-4. It's a pretty straight-forward pattern, but very mesmerizing. Once I got the hang of it, I just had to "go with the flow" of the waves/particles, and it became very fun.

Well I did just pacify one of them becuase of how fun it was. I guess SP-9, Illusionary Dominance. Maybe there's a cooler one, but none spring to mind.

SP-9 is my favorite.
Other really fun ones include 10-7 (the Tenshi Spark) and 9-8 (Rose Hell).

(dis)honorable mention goes to 9-7 for being a piece of utter crap.

The extra stage; all of it. But if I had to pick one it would be Exorcism of the Newspaper Subscription Solicitors with Blazing Star in a very close second.

Double Spoiler has far too many good scenes to answer this properly. I have done a bit of score play with it which has forced me to play the cards the way they were meant to be played which made quite a lot of them really fun. There are a bunch that I remember, not all of them cards I've scored against but fun nonetheless.

10-4. Its pretty easy with Aya but hard as Hatate because of her lousy camera. Still, its a really fun one because of how you are always on the move, never standing still in one spot or micrododging so yeah. I like it.
That Suwako one with the rings. Really cool attack and a lot better than the one from MoF's extra stage that sucked.
Pretty much all the Nue ones. The only one I didn't like was the one with the Shadow because the camera refused to acknowledge its true priorities.
The Yuugi one with the fast fat banana lasers. It was a challenging process to play this for score but it was really rewarding when I pulled it off.

However, I cannot point out just one favorite. That is simply not going to happen. Too many good cards here.

I enjoy playing Double Spoiler much more than StB.

11-4 Hime River "Princess Jade Green";
12-3 "Yuugyou Hijiri";
12-8 "Danmaku X from a Wandering Star".

I'm a little more mellow in my hatred for DS than StB, but not much. I actually did make it to the Extra Stage before ragequitting for good. And I have to say, some of the later cards were actually ~~not entirely bullshit~~ pretty fun. Looking over the list on the wiki, I'mma have to go with 12-1.

Oy, now here's a tough one...I like a lot of the DS scenes...hrrmmmm.....

I'll go with EX-9. SO PRETTY...and it's fun to just graze all those bullets as you weave back and forth, at least until the last wave.

The game pisses me off too much for me to like it more than a tiny bit. Though I suppose my favorite is Suika's last card, the one where she grows in size and follows you, then springs up to a corner of the screen.

Donut, I can provide a question if you don't mind me filling in. While going through MoF again today, something triggered an old memory of a certain topic on here. I'll expand its question a little to form this:

From a purely visual standpoint, what is your favorite attack?

Because not every attack is a Spellcard (like that old topic asked for). So yeah, what attack from anywhere in Touhou do you think looks the best? My answer would be MoF midboss-Sanae's nonspell. I've always loved the way the big stars unfolded, creating that cool symmetric pattern.

I am tempted to say Devil's Recitation, but I'll go with Saigyouji Flawless Nirvana. I can't really remember them all at once of course, but at the moment these are what come to mind. For some reason I also started wondering what Hell's Tokamak would be like with four suns, one on each border.

Please note, I have a lot of ties for this question because I fucking love the attacks in these games but

1. Selaginella 9 (EOSD Stage 3 Hard/Lunatic Midboss Card 1) especially, but most of Hong Meiling's (EOSD Stage 3 Boss) spells. They're just so lovely~

They're colorful and appealing to the eyes.

2. Pretty much every Final Attack in the series (And some Extra Finals), but from what I've seen, here are my favorites, the better ones at the top of the list.

3. Suwako's First card, Two Bows, Two Claps, One Bow. Honestly, this is the only card where it looks awesome to have everything and the kitchen sink thrown at you.

Ooh. This is certainly a tough one.

I'm going to go with Jeweled Pagoda "Greatest Treasure". It's simple but mesmerizing.

Sanae's nonspells, Froggy Braves the Elements, Mishaguji-Sama, and Pandemonium are pretty great too.

Pretty much all of Yuugis attacks, for some reason I can't explain, especially Knockout in Three Steps.
Oh, and Devil's Recitation as well as Yuyukos cards(all of them) look breathtakingly awesome too.
