And for the confusion on the name, that's understandable. Yuyuko's normal theme is "Bloom Nobly, Cherry Blossoms of Sumizome ~ Border of Life," while her last spell theme played on Resurrection Butterfly is simply "Border of Life."

What is your favorite original SWR song?

If you ask me, SWR has one of the best soundtracks in the series (ironic, since only a few songs are by ZUN). So, putting aside the character theme remixes, which of the original themes is your favorite? By this, I include the opening/ending/credits, original character themes, and pre-battle themes.

Hmm hmm, you'd have to play a song I didn't like for that to be a punishment. :]

As for me, it's rather hard to choose. Bhava Agra is still my favorite, but choosing the same song twice in a row would be boring, so hmm...

There are so many I want to choose, but I suppose if I had to choose just one, it would be Fragrant Plants. Really, that and Dancing Water Spray are one song split into two, but I like this version slightly better.

Honorable mentions to Darkening Dusk, Skies Beyond the Clouds, and Wonderful Heaven.

I don't have many favorites, honorable mentions go to Reisen's and Sakuya's themes because they've had me listening for more than two times but not as often as the two above.

Thissssssss.  Both versions of Bhava-Agra are, to me, fairly uninteresting.

Also I think I'm going to have to ever-so-slightly let Flawless Clothing of the Celestials outweigh Dancing Splashes, now that I think on it, but you really can't go wrong with either.  Ridiculous Game is also fairly decent, but it doesn't measure up to either of these, and I prefer Dancing Splashes more vibrant and bouncy execution over Fragrant Plants, though it too is excellent.

What is your favorite remixed theme in SWR?

Your mileage may vary, but I think SWR also did a spectacular job with remixing character themes. Which one is your favorite then? Note that this discounts Iku and Tenshi's themes, since they're originally from the game.

Septette for the Dead Princess here. Absolutely amazing arrange in my opinion. Bonus points for being I think the only one that doesn't have a crazy improv section thrown in at the end. :V The remix of Invisible Full Moon is also particularly snazzy.

Border of Life gets my vote. It's just so energetic. Quite good for a fighting game track. But at the same time, I have to agree with Donut as well about Septette.

Oh yes, IaMP had horrible remixes, but SWR's are great. I love the metal approach to Casket of Star, but I'll go with the Doll Maker of Bucuresti. They took a dull monotonous song and extracted all the good aspects. It realized its true potential, so to speak.
