Because I like to sprite and see characters visually. It helps me imagine them correctly.

Not necessarily, do keep in mind that a long time has passed since Miko's unsealing.
In terms of relation, he'd be closer to Kyouko in terms of things. He'd be there yes, but he'd probably be trying to make sure that the peace either remains, or is made.

Maybe it's just a personal bias of mine, which I admit I am capable of, but I can't help but see Miko as a villain of touhou. Most of the others, except Mima of course, have at least one or two extenuating circumstances around them when you confront them, IE Utsuho, who was unfortunately insane at the time. Miko, however, had none of that. She's as bad as Mima, or worse. Probably start another religious war in gensokyo, if it'd get her back in charge of a nation.

The way I see it, she's a two-bit hack compared to the other genuine villains.
And do note, Mima warmed up and became a playable.

Sure, Miko could be a villain, but there's a whole host of folks who would be more than happy to give 'er a good smack if she started something.
And from what I can understand from the endings, she's decided "Well screw this. There's what, four folks who beat me? Two of which are mere servants. That's it, it's done."
Then again, we've gotta wait for that new book to get translated to see how Miko goes about things.
