> "Anyway, let's head on. And try to contain yourself when we get downstairs."
> Head down into the basement.
>You make your way to the empty back room, where you see Alice is frowning toward some of the areas where the dust has not been particularly disturbed. Seeing you make your way toward the stairs, she starts to follow you.
>The air grows noticeably more chilly as you round the stairs. You can hear the sounds of Eirin and Patchouli's voices talking among themselves. "My word..." says Mamizou behind you, as the accumulated wealth comes into view; having been some time since you've seen it last, it is rather striking to be in its presence again. Alice does not say anything. Patchouli and Eirin seem to be standing near one of the piles, away from the piles of mud that you dug up earlier. A good deal of the ice seem to have melted, leaving standing puddles here and there. As well, much of the ice has fallen from the walls and ceiling. falling into half-melted piles. Other pieces of ice seem to have fallen into the field protecting the money and hang in midair.
>"You've arrived," says Patchouli, looking over toward you. "I am afraid I do not recognize your friend- Ah, hello Alice."
>Eirin simply nods toward you, then glances toward the weapon resting on your hip.
>"Good afternoon, Patchouli," says Alice. "Interesting situation we've found, isn't it?"
>"Quite," says Patchouli.
