Along the way, as you pass farms with unfamiliar crops and animals, much of the time is spent with Mamizou giving you a basic working knowledge of the many kinds of grains that the people here grow, as well as an animal called sheep, whom you come to think of a sedate kitten equivalent of the familiar goat. As near as you can tell, the main food in this land seems to be buns of various kinds.
>As you draw close to the forest, Mamizou says, "There is a pond near here that a water sprite sometimes calls home. But she has been there less and less often, as the pastures have edged closer."
