Blast chamber is lined with obsidian, so as to harvest those unaware. But yes, given the level of competence as shown by some, lava may be looking like the better solution.

fighting arena with monster lift in every corner > Lava pitfall > cactus pitfall > tnt trap

You fall down a pitfall that is made so you lose some of you health (7-8 hearts) without armor. then you get pushed into the dark fighting arena made of obsidian. The mechanism will open the monster lift doors. The only way to survive is to solve a puzzle that is written on the walls and enter the correct code into a button system, while being attacked by a infinite stream of monsters muahahahaha (or just type /home or /spawn :ohdear:)

I don't know. Punching obsidian while underwater was pretty funny.

Well, tonight was rather... interesting. Exuro, Cykyrios and I all teamed up with Shady and explored a ravine/mineshaft area near his base. We had a server crash, which reset all of our inventories.. Then we went mining again, only to have the three of us die by different circumstances. Exuro and Cykrios died to ninja creepers, and I died to lava. We lost all of our crap, while Shady was the lone survivor. The three of us died separately after we got separated from Shady. It was like something out of a bad horror movie.

Lesson learned: Don't go mining with Shady. :V

Okay, so I want to sum up what happened in the last 2-3 hours or so:
Strafe, Shady, Exuro and I lost some items due to a server crash that reset our inventories.
We then explored an abandoned mineshaft, which I think was a quite good experience.
We got separated quite a few times, wandered here and there, and all ended up dying (except for Shady IIRC).

So, don't know about the others, but I lost some items, got some nice things inside the mineshaft, and lost them all again.
So I decided to bury myself next to the spawn, where I was blown to pieces by Shady.

Oh well, at least it all was quite funny.

True, didn't think to mention you two.
Oh and regarding my inventory, I had put all of my items into a chest yesterday (because of PX's haunted minecart), and I picked it up when I logged in. 5 minutes later, server crash, no inventory, empty chest :V

Anyway, I'm for another mineshaft exploration, I think I'll try to find another one the next time I log in.

You can do another funny thing, when you enter a minecart before you hit the ground, you will die when you leave the minecart xD

Or do you mean entering the minecart just before hitting the ground?

Anyway, that cannon is purely awesome! Too bad there's a "wall" that prevents people from flying too far away, though.

So I finally put something up in Hakurei City amid a gluttony of building supplies lately.

Though I call this the 'Provisional Headquarters of the Bunbunmaru Service', Strafe has a more fitting name - 'firehouse'.

Also it seems that Hakurei Standard Time is 6 hours ahead (or behind?) Stuffman Regional Time (which is set at 3:00). :V

You didn't look at the example around my tower yet? That was on the syllabus as an example of proper lighting! And considering charcoal creating is now a given 101 of Minecraft, there's no excuse to not be using it when coal is unavailable.

I finally finished my building. The most tedious part was making the entire thing out of stone bricks, I probably wont cook more stone anytime soon. Anyways, here is the end result:

The miniature glowstone sun was something I decided to add in the last minute. I was originally gonna call this the Mausoleum of the Sun God but it kinda looks like an arena and if I make it an arena it wouldn't be much of a mausoleum now would it. Special thanks to Strafe for donating some stone bricks. Strafe offered to world guard it if I want it to be an arena, but I noticed someone else building a coliseum, so I'll let you guys decide if you want 2 arenas.
