>Nod to Storm Eagle, then say, "Can you find her something to wear, please?"
>Look to Ringly: "Do you have a name?"
>Where does one dump off newly minted youkai; aside from a proper dumpster?
>"Yeh, I'll see what I can scrounge." she replies easily, before breezing out of the shack. "Chie surprised." the feline miko states quietly in her wake.
>"No. Should I have?"
>Not every major city in the world has proper facilities for that sort of thing. Fortunately, for all parties involved, Mayoiga does. Founded, owned and operated by the Saigyoji group, in conjunction with the Hakurei group, the Center for the Recently Ascended (or CRA for short) is a place that helps newborn youkai of all origins acclamate to their new existance, as well as new fairys that emerge from... well, wherever fairys come from, as there's several schools of thought on that one. Personal items becoming youkai is hardly unheard of, and many who find themselves in the proximity of new youkai simply lack the means to care for them until they adapt, and are unwilling to simply turn them loose. This applies to feral youkai as well; it's been known to happen that someone would become attached to a wild youkai, but lack the means to care for it themselves, for whatever reason. That's where the CRA comes in.
>You're not entirely familiar with the inner workings of the facility, but it has an excellent reputation around town. Yuyuko has spoken highly of its staff and its process, in her own way, and between school, your jobs you've worked in the past, and generally about town, you know of several youkai that now fit in perfectly among society that have come through the CRA program. In fact, from what Lily mentioned earlier, Chie herself is a product of CRA, though perhaps she hasn't assimilated entirely perfectly just yet. Every youkai is different, of course.
