>You don't really have any experience with burrowing, but you don't imagine it would be that hard.
>The field covered a distance of about seven or so yards, from where you first noticed the slowdown. However, there was money further away than that, and you were unable to touch it.
>You really aren't sure how long it would take. Probably a better portion of an hour, but you are just pulling a number from the air.
>You think you can gauge distance well enough to come up close to him.
>It wouldn't take you that long to shift back, going back is always easier, but it would take a couple minutes. You think, if you have claws good enough to dig with, you could probably also cut someone up real bad. You aren't sure how much access you would have to your danmaku, but it wouldn't a great deal at all; that much of a transformation takes a fair amount out of you.

>It would not. Unfortunately, you also wouldn't pick up any enhanced sense of smell; you think the structures necessary for it are too complex to get by simply fiddling around. If you chose, you could also keep your vocal chords intact.

>It really depends on what you decide to do. But about the smallest you'd be able to make yourself would be the size of a largish dog.  You're not certain what your upper limit would be, but you imagine a larger form would not dig so well.

>You feel time is slipping by.

(While I don't mind delaying a bit to get more information or try to plot a better way, I've been waiting nigh on a month for something definitive, and have gotten about a post a day that's only serving to drag things out rather than to really collect more information or do anything. As such, if there's not an upswing in activity by tomorrow, events will move on. I don't mind if this activity is just trying to gather more information, but the current pace will have to pick up in that case.)

I cannot possibly bring myself to care about Rinnosuke anymore, there is nothing I can think of that I want to say to him or do here.  I'm still convinced that he's not the actual mastermind behind this plot.

I didn't want to talk about it in the thread, but it's not a strategic delay here. This entire sequence has just completely killed all interest I had in this game.

I'm sorry.

I'll do what I did with Ran Quest then. UK Mode. Any objections to doing the digging plan? Tell me within the next 24 hours.

Purvis, can you give me those 24 hours to take the wheel? I'll push it until people care again.

I don't object to the digging plan, I've just also lost all interest in the game ever since we started talking to Rinnosuke.   Also, I'd rather leave and talk to Tewi but that can probably wait.

>You make yourself comfortable, and set to work changing your shape.
>The body shape isn't too hard to make, just a broad and chubby kind of build; you don't really have to rearrange anything vital. The limbs are little trickier; while they are going to naturally be stubby, you have to arrange them in such a way that they'll be able to burrow effectively without too much wasted motion. Changing your hands and feet into proper paws is harder, particularly when it comes to lengthening and sharpening your nails into claws. That takes some time and concentration as you shift about how they connect to your fingers and toes. Thankfully, you've already covered yourself in hair, so changing it to short, thick fur doesn't take a long as it could. Then you get to your head, and things get difficult. You have to shift how your whole neck connects to your skull so that you can see properly, which is always a slow and careful procedure. You have messed this up and left yourself paralyzed for a time in the past, and you suspect that's not the worst that could happen. But, you are careful and manage to do this without too many issues. Then it comes to rearranging your face, which is comparatively easy, stretching it out to a wedge shape, shifting your eyes over a little and making certain your nostrils are not too exposed and you change your nose to match..
>You are now a large black mole, or at least mole-like enough to be mistaken for one. You practically lay on the floor now. Despite moving your eyes a little, your range of vision is about the same; you haven't really mastered tinkering with that without leaving large and uncomfortable blind spots, you think you make have to change your eye shape as well. The room seems much larger now; the ceiling almost impossibly high up above you. It's difficult to look above you.
