You voted me for being scummy before I claimed, so I don't think you ever told us your interpretations of the events of the day. Now that I have claimed, I want you to tell me what the best course of action is in regards to that information and why, as well as your interpretations of the information. I voted Reg Shoe for the logic he was using (or more precisely, the fact that he didn't even try to work out a counter interpretation of events when he voted me for being "scummy") at the time of his vote; and at the time of your vote the facts presented were different so there was nothing suspicious about the logic. However, I need to know the logic you are now using, since you will be using that logic to determine the lynch.

I consider nothing more scummy that failing to use logic when it is available - all votes and all decisions in mafia must have a reasonable explanation, even if the reason is incorrect and the true explanation is far more complex. This is because logic is more reliable than gut and stronger than cases when it comes to finding the truth. That is why I consider absolutely nothing more scummy than failing to have an explanation of the events in the game before a player makes decisions. Thus, I would like to hear your understanding of the kills and my claim before the day is over.

Here is what I think: I vigged Necro Gardna Night 2. I didn't vig anyone last night, so I conclude that scum had a janitor kill that they used on Bathory, while Ayumu was taken out by the other scum. There was no declaration of Lylo (which is usually declared), notable since we have a Chicago Voter that would not be able to vote in Lylo according to her role. So I believe there are 2 scum or less left. In addition, in most the previous games I've played, every player gets one night action. Thus, while I had a town read on Pamela before, I would probably not consider the possibility of Pamela scum if the player she neighborized today were to appear. This is because scum used 2 night actions, neither of which were neighborizor. I do not believe there is a serial killer (because that would mean the killer only made one successful, non-crossing kill on night 3, in my interpretation) or a second vig since that would require two town vigs, which while possible, does not strike me as the most reasonable and logical explanation.

@Sid: I'm offering myself as a lynch target for when you guys are ready to go in to LYLO as I won't be of any use then.
@Bogmire: I'm not sure if I can really believe your claim. I have a very bad gut feeling about it. It doesn't seem to work out too well with the kill sequence.
What you think can still make sense as another possibility though. I'm not exactly sure on what I think happened with the NK's.
I think the D1 kill was scum, D2 what MGG said makes sense in that scenario, D3 could have been a janitor (something I compeletely forgot existed) who went after Bathory leaving Ayumu to be the scum NK, and D4 someone will probably die because that's what normally happens.

I still think you could be scum though.

We have like 12 hours left and we need a lynch. Since no one can see how utterly bloody scummy Remilia is, we're going to go Bogmire. Bog is SKish as hell, I think. Myon isn't as certain, but with 12 hours left beggars can't be choosers. As for why I strongly lean SK as opposed to scum, Bog's entire playstyle has been of appeasement. It doesn't feel like he's hunting scum so much as trying not to die. This is particularly notable when he questions us on MGG and then backs off instantly, despite having read that post at the time. It feels like he's trying to piss off as few people as possible so he doesn't get NK'd OR lynched. Why this isn't scum is because we can only think of one circumstance where Bog IS scum, and it's highly unlikely.

Bog's wall of words are swimming for both myself and Myon because we're tired, but I think I saw several silly/dumb assumptions. Particularly the one about logic, but that's a theory discussion. I also see your explanation of kills and raise you the idea that you had a one shot janivig, and figured Bathory would be perfect for it after the MGG lynch. After all, if town seemed suspicious, you could use the wiggle room that she's scum to set up more lynches. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to bite, so you've had to assume she was town.

Youmu, logic and MOTKtown is a sore point with me. Nevertheless, players that don't use it are always horribly scummy, and I will argue this to the death in every mafia game. Heck, I would love to say players that insist on molding logic itself around the conclusions they want to believe rather than those conslusions that make the most sense are scummy, but then I would have to lynch everyone and obviously they aren't all scum.

Please unvote me until the mod gets back and answers this:

Mod - Can you please define LyLo.

I don't want any hammers on the basis of serial killer until I know the answer to that question.

Hey Bog, another thing. What if I asked you to come up with another possibility based on the NK's?
Also if I'm right LYLO means lynch or lose. In other words town need to lynch a scum or they lose the game. This is the opposite of MYLO which is mislynch or lose. Where scum have to misynch or they will lose. Sorry if it's not correct.

Right. If I'm a serial killer, as Youmu is now assuming, we might have already been placed in LyLo/MyLo, depending on the rules Huh What is using. This is regardless of whether or not there is 1 or 2 scum. That's why I want Huh What to make a precise definition for the terms.

I won't suggest another possibility, because there isn't another possibility that makes more sense to me as the vig than I vigged Necro Gardna and the two kills last night were caused by scum. The only reasonable alternative, considering that I know I killed Necro Gardna, miht be a second vig.

@Youmu, I really wish you would not dismiss logic. I do think incorrect and flawed understandings of mafia theory is scummy, especially if the player refuses to update or consider correct theory in light of more reasonable alternatives, and I would hate for it to be a problem in determining alignment if I play with you in future games. I don't want to mix up scummy behavior with a theory disagreement.

Also, any thoughts on Reg Shoe?

EDIT: @ Huh What - can you please define what the term "LyLo" means in your game.

We think Reg is wrong about you being scum. If you knew about Mean Scum Girl we think you would have voted sooner. It doesn't make you any less -scummy-, it just means he's picking up the tells for the wrong reasons.

Remilia, this is our answer to that question.

I will say this though - if your understanding of the game is that I am scum, then the best way to lynch would be by Youmu's method - either have the Necro Gardna vig come out if he's a one shot, or have him kill me tonight if he's a multishot. Either way I'm fine since I'm the vig, which is part of the reason I consider it so important for players to have an interpretation of the game that makes sense, and then they act on it.

Anyway, I would like you to tell me what makes Remilia different from New Town. Admittedly, I do have trouble telling the difference, and my gut seems to tell me not to lynch her right now, so I would like you to explain how it's "scummy" as opposed to just "bad".

@Youmu - the reason we might have been in MyLo, if your assumptions about the game were correct, is that a town mislynch plus two townies down (one by scum, one by SK) would place town in a 1-1-2 situation, with the number of anti-town players equaling the number of town players. But Huh What's description is too vague to draw that conclusion from.

@Remilia (and to a smaller extent, Youmu) she wouldn't have to keep reminding you guys if you actually looked at Reg Shoe.

What you're saying doesn't work because if there was a vig alive, with the players we have, they would have come forward by now. The other possibility we were considering is that your role works as you claim it does (or you're just one-shot), Bathory was the town vigilante and you're asking someone who's already dead to come forward.

I really need to sleep. I will try to make sure to be awake before the end of day if some ~*shocking revelations*~ happen. If I get cut one more time Roukanken is coming out!
