Most of the time, I'll just let the auto-select find a server for me. Lately, I've just been joining servers that have a decent ping and amount of players. I'll play whichever map that the server has at the time, but every now and then, I get the urge to play specific maps. (more like when I want to escape Dustbowl..)

As for specific servers, I find that I frequent LotusClan and NightTeam servers the most. I don't really have problems with the Lotus servers, except for the lack of map diversity. NightTeam servers, however.... :V Well, you can play a decent game on there until one of their stupid "Premium" members joins. Then, everything goes to shit because those members get game-breaking abilities and perks.

Sadly, I don't go to the MotK server that much. My ping is too high for my liking, and... well... there never really is a decent amount of players on there.

I typically favour LotusClan and No Heroes servers for public matches; ATG, FernandoUnited, and Saxton Hell for VSH; random servers for other mod gamemodes (eg. TF2Ware).

The MotK server is more for events and match-ups we announce ahead of time. Speaking of which, seems there is no one taking interest in a Christmas meet there, which I asked about in an earlier post.

A Christmas meet would be awesome, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to make it. My family's been sent invites for something tonight and something tomorrow morning, and I have no idea how long they'll last.

In terms of servers, Lotus has pretty good servers. I have that one server with the demon-cat-thing on my favorites for when I just want to mess around. I also have a Block Party Dallas crit server which has the Mario Kart map 24/7 for the same purpose. Nighteam can go eat a dick.

The server I spend 90% of my time on is joe.to's tf4 server.  A few friends introduced it to me before I started playing TF2, and I've been playing it ever since.  It's gotten to the point where I feel weird playing on non-frendly fire servers.

I used to play a lot on Top Notch servers, but they're usually empty these days :(

eGO is also fairly good.

Lotus servers here. Ping is good, and there's usually a good amount of players on. (don't have to deal with premium players either) But other than that, I just pick randomly, similarly to how Strafe picks.

A Christmas meet would be good, but I won't know if I could make it. I'd like to use up my Secret Saxton during one of our meets, although my internet doesn't want me to do anything with TF2 lately. Staying in a server for more than 2 minutes is near impossible, and one server I joined got me disconnected the moment I was on. (I didn't even get to the page to select a class yet)
I figured out how to play midi in games with a different device on Win7 ^^

I would likely join the meet tomorrow if it wern't for 2 things... 1) TF2 likes having random issues so I might not be able to stay on for long or might have to take awhile to to get fixed in. 2) One thing requested for christmas by my dad is that neither me nor my brother are on games for christmas day (which isnt going to happen most likely, but is likely an issue). I typically play on a bot server (:V) that is typically occupied by other friends of mine who know of touhou (don't think they're MoTK though). When I told one of them I knew of a touhou server he was pretty damn suprised.  :3

I'm really not that good...

To be fair, most people suck at deathmatching in TF2 surf. They should play more Serious Sam or Quake 3. FPSes for real men where everything that moves wants you to die, unlike little-babychild-CoD.

Agreed there, definitely; shame most players now don't understand the FPS basics from those games.

Went on Eirin's page on the Touhou wiki (because Eirin is the Medic) to get some ideas for names/descriptions

Here's what I managed to gather

Crusader's Crossbow
  • Kochoumugan / Butterfly Dream Pill
This will feel so good, you just may not wake up. Ever.

  • Artemis
Selenium is good for you! Large doses may kill you, however.

Medigun
  • Game of Rising
Just like the game of life, but you live longer.

  • Hourai Elixir
A healthy dose of forbidden magic, since 100000 BC!

  • Lunar Incense
This fragrance is strong enough to drive men wild.

Amputator
  • Omoikane's Device
You'll think more clearly when your brain won't have a body to control.

Opinions/ideas ?

ninjaquick edit: And I totally need to rename the Summer Shades to "DWI Shades"

Think I have a description tag loafing around, but we'll need to do the trade via the Steam Client, as I can't get in-game anytime soon.
I'll take that spare Enforcer off your hands, for lack of anything else (provided I still have it, I'll have to check). There really isn't much else that you have that I want that's the same value of a tag, I think. It's not like I'd get a Milkman for a Tag :p

Hahaha, that was the best match I've ever had. Dustbowl, on Red, I planted my sentry at the perfect spot, near the second CP (on 3rd part of map), and gosh how long I lived and how well I did. (being near the top of the list for a change :derp:) My first life lived for more than half the entire match (14:35) and I was dominating 5 players at one point (on a team of 10 - 12, somewhere in there) and my gosh, that was amazing. We won in the end too. Never underestimate a good engie and his sentry. Period. (I was dominating Shady as well , cept he was actually the first to get revenge)

Also, my score for engie is now 26, which trumps my previous 10.

EDIT: Haha, found another server that knows about Touhou (least, the one who maintains the server does)
