@Gpop: Going by Steam chat with Rgwefwef and a few tests, it seems that you and I have admin privileges on the MotK TF2 server since we seem to be the ones organizing said meet-ups. We indeed can do Randomizer VSH (or even melee-only :ohdear:) even if he isn't on.
I also got Shady to test along yesterday (just to see if permissions were setup incorrectly), but he didn't seem to give a clear reply in-game.

To the rest of you: No need to worry about admin power abuse XD. We'll start easy and standard vanilla to get the general tone going, and then go crazier from there.

Afraid I cannot get back on. Both my laptop and desktop are down, and while I can try and service the latter myself (with very low chances of recovery into TF2 within 24hrs) I have to wait until tomorrow for the former.

It sure was fun, though, but next time - less admin power usage is a must. ^^

Well, Gpop and I played a good bit with our new admin powers, such as a round of Randomizer melee-only Mann Manor. :V

While fun, it was in retrospect a bit silly and thus I recommended less active use of them next time.

I remember getting a randomized Rocket Jumper+Buff Banner+The Eternal Reward loadout. I felt so useless having no ranged attack.

But I nailed someone with a rocket jumped backstab.

Also, Engineers with stickies are OP.

Actually, my working days are very erratic; I don't think it's the meeting on Saturday part that really does it as much as getting put to work on that day on a regular basis for whatever reason.

... or maybe it isn't coincidence, which would suck. But eh, whatever works.

On the other hand, I approve of weekly TF2 weekend fests, maybe with a few mid-week ones for those whose weekend schedules can't accommodate TF2 at the former times.
