NEW SHOTGUN FOR PYRO WHERE

OH WAIT THERES NONE SHIIIIIIT

I like the default shotgun better than the flare gun though. Can't say anything about the Detonator because I really don't have it right now.

Cheating? I cannot even wrap my head around the point of it. Wouldn't you know you had cheated? How on Earth could you maintain crisp certainty of your superiority to all others? And if you're unable to do that, what's the point of anything?

New shotgun would be very nice, being a shotty user as well :(

I feel like the standard Shotgun is fine. Flare Gun and Detonator are both good options as secondary for the Pyro, but they kind of overlap.
I usually use BB/Shotgun/Homewrecker. Engineers and their buildings must die :V.

I would probably go back to using a Shotgun if I could equip the Reserve Shooter (if that's the one that gives mini-crits against airborne targets). Could still use the Gas Jockey set with that, which includes the Degreaser already, so it'd be like a different kind of puff'n'sting - light 'em up, airblast them into the air, and whip out the R.S. and load 'em up with minicrits while they're flying through the air.
I could dig it :O

Alright, well I talk to omgkitties (I forgot his username here x.x) if we could use his server for another MotK TF2 party this weekend. What do you guys say?

Why this weekend, well it's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, so I'd like to use to play TF2 with others again. And we can easily do it again in the US Thanksgiving weekend as well :V

You guys up for it?

So what, the Korean one was 2-odd weeks ago. :V

I'll likely be on (and playing on my POS laptop due to another desktop nukefest) after 4pm EST Friday and most all day Saturday.

Don't expect me to be as good as last time, though, I still have no idea how I did that. My skill is a sine wave.  :derp:

Timing sounds good to me, seeing how I don't have any plans for once. I'll be my usual trade-off of Pyro, Soldier, and random couple minutes of other classes.

I am getting very fucking tired of Steam deciding it doesn't need to stay connected, leading to me losing my class loadouts, then a few minutes later being booted from the server because of the lack of VAC logins.

Fucking A. I know it's not my internet randomly cutting out because, even though it's not the fastest around, it never locks up or drops service. Why can't Steam keep its shit together? I know it's Steam and not just TF2, because I'll randomly lose connection to my friends list even if I'm not playing a game, and I'll get repeated 'so and so is now playing this game!' pop-ups for like five people at once when it reconnects me.

WTF, Steam, WTF

Yeah, Thanksgiving in Canada comes before Halloween. Count me in for TF2 party, I'm free.
They think I'll think that they'll do (A) so they'll do (B) because I wouldn't think they'd think of that but then because they might think I know what they're thinking they'll do (A) after all because I wouldn't think they'd think that way.

I had a Chief's Challenge drop for me a few days ago, but I changed my mind about trading it since they recently introduced customizable loadouts to the beta. Kind of wish I had not had given my Hound Dog to my brother too but oh well.

OK, all of you who are interested in tomorrow's Canadian Thanksgiving TF2 Slugfest, Rgwefwef has given me in Steam chat (amid various discussion on the server, which included adding new VSH/Arena maps and possibly other admins too) the new IP for the Unofficial MotK TF2 Server:

chen.lolmaiden.com:27015

See you all tomorrow! ^^

EDIT: One caveat - we won't be able to put up Replay support there in time for the event, it seems. Rgwefwef claims it'll be fixed eventually, though, hopefully by the next meet-up (Halloween?),

Eh, I'm not even concerned about using loadout profiles for cosmetic stuff.  It's to make switching between certain loadouts that have you swapping most of your items (fez spy and demoknight in particular, plus the "medieval medic" because switching back after Degroot annoys me).

If you want to quickly switch hats, it's actually available through quickswitch.  Just try pressing keys that are higher than 3 (since 1-3 are for your primary/secondary/melee).  You can access spy watches, hats, and accessories.
Cheating? I cannot even wrap my head around the point of it. Wouldn't you know you had cheated? How on Earth could you maintain crisp certainty of your superiority to all others? And if you're unable to do that, what's the point of anything?

:derp:, but double dosage YEAH! We need to remember to do this as well for US Thanksgiving, and add a Halloween slugfest as well. ^^

@Gpop: Going by Steam chat with Rgwefwef and a few tests, it seems that you and I have admin privileges on the MotK TF2 server since we seem to be the ones organizing said meet-ups. We indeed can do Randomizer VSH (or even melee-only :ohdear:) even if he isn't on. >:D
I also got Shady to test along yesterday (just to see if permissions were setup incorrectly), but he didn't seem to give a clear reply in-game.

To the rest of you: No need to worry about admin power abuse XD. We'll start easy and standard vanilla to get the general tone going, and then go crazier from there.
