Going to bed. I trust those that are still awake to make a proper decision here: if you want to go out and tell everyone what Rinnosuke did and what he plans to do and why, if you want to keep fishing for information, or if you even want to try your hand at combat. I'd endorse any of these approaches, though I'd lean away from the last one.

What I suspect will NOT work is trying to argue Rinnosuke down. Not only is it clear he's put a lot of thought into this, but arguing main antagonists down has literally never worked in this series, from Yuuka to Shuuei. Seriously, don't bother. What I've put out is the token effort that I didn't honestly expect to go anywhere - the only thing I'd bother arguing about at this point is pointing out the irony in that Rinnosuke is effectively buying his way out of a buying economy.
