Go for it! If you were on the whitelist before, you're still on it.

NOTE: Server performance is noticably sticky right now, since we turned on logblock. The server isn't quite as powerful as the Brohoster one. If it winds up being an issue we may have to look into other options.

Ehh. On second thought, I'll probably donate the site to either Rapture or Atlantis. I've got too many other Minecraft projects on my plate. :V

This is sweet! I'll join you guys later tonight for some crazy fun on this server.

I'm thinking the best way to handle it would be to generate another world with the regular generator so it's nice and flat, call it "timewarp world" and paste stuff from the last two servers onto it :V
I still prefer having the stuff from the last two servers in their own distinct worlds, but it's  bit early for that.

Eh, I thought 1.8 increases the max height from 128 to 512, so it'd be worth the wait, but nevermind that.

Ok, let's build some shizzle.

EDIT: the new spawn area is awesome (look at the floor, well-designed!) if a little high, as I spawned right in a cloud passing by. And it's not the highest place around, the surrounding mountain chains are higher and probably touch the height limit. This is going to be scary.

I'm not actually going to build until you guys choose to establish a settlement somewhere.

Which I am not going to lie to you will probably be hard in this beautiful but hostile world.

I am dubbing it Pandora for now. It's not exactly floating islands, more like floating continents, but still breathtaking.
Damn, it makes me sad even thinking of altering this terrain. Perhaps this time I'm going to have to settle for some symbolic shrines for this land instead of lollighthouses.

Yeah, PM Stuffman and/or Strafe with your MC username and they'll add you in. Things are getting really fun down here!

And EPFort mk3 plans - connect bottom to top. No 250 radius block buffer zone. Just the fort.

EDIT: Apparently /home has a 5 second warm-up time now. This'll make things harder! :/

Yo, calling dibs on the first round snowy island closest to spawn right now. I couldn't get a sign up there yet because I couldn't uh, get there yet :V
But I made a little hole in the stone bunker safehouse near it, and a temporary dirt bridge to the island right under it

The TS room is up! I'll be using that mostly for commentary on the current situation and music spams. :3

WARNING: When speaking, my accent, dialect, language and what will be broadcast can, has, and will change with little or no warning. Why that is the case, well, it's for fun and profit and whatnot.

As for music spams, I'll select randomly between YT, MIDIs processed through hardware synths, and whatever's sitting on my drive. Occasionally I'll ask for requests - send them on TS' text chat with YT links. :3

Alright. After wasting spending my day on the new server, I can honestly say this will work out fine. We still have some issues with lag here and there, but hey, this is the Internet. Having the Teamspeak server up made things even more fun!

Also, very good news. I just got through importing a schematic from the old world, and it was a success! It will take a fair bit of setup and measurement first, but it seems that this will work out beautifully. Let me know if you would like me to port anything over from our previous server. We'll work out any details at that time. :3

That was a lot of fun, indeed. :3 (even though BSoD and I seemed to just stand there and listen/broadcast music, going by how both of us had 0 chunk updates frequently)

Now I wonder if TS supports multiple mic inputs in case I choose to micspam and voice chat at at the same time, but then again it would be hard to hear the latter.

I can see about porting over some of your cave home. It will be interesting to try.. Unfortunately, I can't get you the Hakurei Tower. I don't have access to DDR's world files. It'd be nice, but I don't think it's going to happen.  :(

 - Micspam is terribly effective. Occasionally it turned to a karaoke session (blame PX for that one, partially) as well. We may need one more broadcaster in case. Also volume seems to be variable, and content loaded up is highly variable, sometimes not even songs at all ("Syameimaru! Syameimaru! Perverted DVD!")
Speaking of which, are there any issues with it so far, such as audio quality, volume, and panning? (constructive criticism please)
 - Voice chat is even more effective for going around. It also seems to get a lot more real-life drama at times, however. Suggestion is to use hotkeys to activate talk, unless you're micspamming.
 - Impressive speed of construction and mining all over. However, there are quite a few cancelled projects on the top parts, owing to skybox.
 - Very distinct differences between bottom and top areas, and with few routes of easy access, it'll be like that for a while.
 - Warp compass would be extremely useful here but is tied to WE, so instead I suggest enabling flying later on, which relies on client-side mods and not mod/admin/OP powers.
 - We may need free pumpkins too. Even if it's mostly for underwater exploration, but there are a lot of things down there worth looking at.
 - Nether seems to be ready for mining thanks to Sunny's work.
 - Occasional lag. Low player limit too but I don't see a need to expand it yet.
 - We need an arena up soon to tide PVP needs, or the spawn'll be used as one (and it already has).
 - Strafe has pulled a Level 1 DDR with 'unarmed players vs. mobs' rushes. This is getting funny.

This, please. The TS auto-detector is too sensitive(it has to be, though), so everyone can hear people's breaths on the mic, or your mother telling you to do the dishes on your local language no one else understands.

No, just use a bucket. You can see better that way anyway.

@importing the structures from the old world: I guess asking just for placing my warehouse somewhere near my new base of operations would be cheating, eh... with its slime balls, plenty of building materials and stuff.

Can you estimate the width, height and length of the area taken up by the lighthouse and the adjoining tree farm, smelting facility and the warehouse? I wonder if I could make a cavern large enough to place all of it underground... Y'know, like how old parts of Aperture Science somehow moved hundreds of meters under the ground.

And be thankful for that work. Those ghasts were annoying as hell.
And I still need to bridge out to the BOTTOM bottom floor, sence were not actualy at the bottom level yet.  >:D
