Just wondering, what`s considered to be an acceptable bump delay without having to make a new thread?
Usually, on other forums, I get a little stick struck on my head to remind me that I should search first and bump if a thread already exists.

Edit:
Not to make a fuzz, but the newer thread Kips made was almost instantly locked, and he was put on probation. Was making a new thread wrong? TSO clearly inferred otherwise and I linked the older thread in my post.
Don't fucking bump old threads. Make a new one and link to the old one.
I'l refrain from making a new thread unless I get an answer.
TSO replied to this query rapidly, telling me that Kips' OP was not appropriate, I'm curious, what makes an appropriate OP for a new thread linking to an old one?

"Reviving old/dead threads is disruptive and often serves little purpose. It's far better off to start a new thread than to revive an older thread that has seen little or no activity in the past week or so. If it's something dealing directly with the old thread, start a new one and link to the old one."

I'm an idiot! :derp:
I should reread the rules to make sure I don't ask a stupid question next time, sorry for wasting your time :3

I don't get what was so inappropriate about Kip's opening post, myself...

Nothing, he just happened to get probated at the same time and for whatever reason it locked the thread as well.
