So I'm at Momocon in Atlanta, and all of a sudden I see this man.

And I was, thinking, what you guys are probably thinking. I-is this man for real? Is this man for real? How's he going to cosplay as Mima when he's both male and not a ghost. Well joke's on me, turns out both gender and corporeality are a social construct! So we hit it off swimmingly. Turns out he's a mod of this very forum, a Twilight Sparkle. So I thought I'd rereg and maybe post some Touhou cosplay.

Come to Otakon some time. Even pre-reg, an hour won't seem that long to stand in line anymore.
Last year's Otakon pre-reg line was pretty quick actually (less than 15 min), compared to 2009's "wrap around the block" Thursday night pre-reg lines.

Well that's reassuring, as I'm planning on coming this year. Wonder what they did different last summer that they didn't do 2009.

Last year if you pre-registered online, you received a conformation barcode that you would print out an bring to Thursday night pre-reg to get your badge.
2009, they didn't do that.

I still cannot wrap my mind around Momocon happening in Tech Square. I knew it was getting bigger and all when I left but I figured the Student Center and that other building would've been enough for a while.

Not as surprising when you check attendance from last year: 7,800. Though I think the fact that there was a huge construction project that made navigating around on foot rather difficult might have figured in too.
I'm just glad to see a group of Touhou cosplayers that large where only one didn't bother to remove their glasses.
The one guy who didn't met my friend while he (the former) was working at Waffle House, I think. I haven't been there, and don't particularly want to. I don't want to shatter my image of him cooking bacon as Mokou.

Best cosplayers overall imo would be Scanty and Kneesocks.
