Hello, Kitaen Silva! I've got a little motivation for you, for you have invoked the Letty Whiterock Snowball Challenge!
Now, you know how this works, I hope. If not, I'm about to tell you! You just made a really poor posting choice, and now, you have to fight! For your right! To paaaaaarty! That's right! Complete my objective, and you win the challenge! There might even be something in it for you! However, if you fail, it's off to the probation station vacation nation or, even worse, a one-way ticket to Banland, the Lettiest Place on Earth! Are you ready? It's cool! Literally!
For your Letty Whiterock Snowball Challenge, you must create five motivational posters that will motivate me to keep you around. Simple enough, right? WRONG. For this to be a challenge, there have to be restrictions! All of them must feature Letty *and* Mima in some way, and you are not allowed to use the letters "E" or "I". Sounds like fun, doesn't it? I think so!
You have 72 hours to complete your challenge. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave fun, Kitaen!
Edit: I added a picture! Hooray!

Nazrin > Shou, so your poster is invalid.

I'm sorry, sir, there must be something wrong with you, as Nazrin isn't a tiger, and thus cannot be better than Shou, who is a tiger.
[edit] It's just an image request, right? What's wrong with the OP that warrants a probation threat?

1. Motivational Posters are the most misused images, right after macros that just say "FAIL" on it, because they are just macros with a black border around them, and don't actually follow the format of actual motivational posters. (GOOD EXAMPLE: the shadow's, BAD EXAMPLE: GBZero's)
2. No-content first post, not even an example.
of course, that's just my completely correct opinion.

I dont quite see why it warrants a probation myself either, but I do tend to miss things while reading though rules. Bordom and this gave me the insperation for this though. http://i47.tinypic.com/2qa0k94.jpg
Edit: I just noticed you can report yourself if you wanted to. Any reasons why or just a quirk of the system?

I'd figured it was this, but there's plenty of precedent.
I just sent this PM to Ghaleon:
Quote
The thread in question had a low-content OP that basically said "Hey, do this for me! Bye!" which was further illustrated by the fact that the user Kitaen Silva immediately went offline, meaning he/she wasn't even checking the thread. I have no issue with Touhou Motivational Posters, but not only are they incredibly easy to make, Kitaen Silva did absolutely nothing to contribute and just made a thread saying "Dance, puppets, dance."
The correct way to handle that thread would've been to make one called "Touhou Motivational Posters" with the OP stating how "Yeah, they're played out, but we can have fun with these, I think!" with a few contributive examples, not "Hey, guys, give me these, I'm leaving now." The users of MotK are not here for other people's amusements, and Kitaen Silva should have known better.
Also, art/picture requests would go in the art forum anyway, so there was just everything wrong with this.
Snowball Challenge still stands.

He doesn't even have to log in. TARC is a public forum.
But yeah, this would be much more entertaining if he was here whining the whole way. But even that distinction serves to prove that this challenge is totally fair. It's his fault if he gets Snowballed, now.
(Also I got back on the computer so I could see the video Letty posted. I am not disappointed.)

Aah, I remember that. I was gonna call it being dead within a few weeks, but figured that'd be trolling. Seems I wasn't wrong. That said, why are we bringing this up? Sure, the OP is being kinda silly, but it doesn't mean we should snigger about him behind his back.

To be fair, that thread is open to the public, and people who wasn't around at that time can simply find it by looking at his post history, if they are curious. The mods didn't delete it either, so it's obviously something that they didn't deem necessary to be less public than it already is.
I apologize if it was just a bad decision on my part to link it here, though. :(

Ouch... My brother is like that. Because I have some knowledge with programming he expects me to just be able to make some game with the same amount of effort required to finish a program of college..by myself, heh...He kinda stopped that actually. But still. I totally know the story of people new to the game-making scene over-estimating their own abilities at actually making it.
Oh my goodness, I remember spending all night long trying to figure out wtf a simple program that was like 1/5 of space invaders wouldn't work, and it turned out being a colon somewhere instead of a semi-colon (oddly enough the program still ran somewhat properly with this error). But that was after a year of knowing how to program.
If I was involved in that topic, I'd politely suggest to them that if they are going to make a Touhou fangame, that they should set their standards at LEAST lower than Zun's own...

that's cuz the defendant is innocent until actually snowballed? Seriously though is this really just a snowball? 3 days of warning for one, I remember my snowball lasted only 1 day...or would have if petty didn't sleep in or whatever, I forget the details. Maybe its my Canadian resistance to snow.

I'm not sure what exactly you are referring to as "kicking". If you mean people enjoying this thread and saying they are, I don't think it's that the person is in trouble that is entertaining as much as the "game" snowball challenges involve. For example, people didn't enjoy douchebag in gensokyo because the person failed, they enjoyed the product that came from it.
At least, most people, there is the sicko sadist type Helion is mentioning as well.

I'd also like to know how he's "down". He's got three entire days to make some motivational posters. That's it. He could redeem himself. Belittling his posting history isn't exactly dredging up top secret information, either. It's two clicks away.

I have no issue with the snowball challenge as such. My issue stems from parts of this thread coming awfully close to "oh look, this person did something stupid, let's tell the whole world that he's stupid, neener, neener, I'll even provide links to other stupid things that he was involved in." It's unnecessary - we have plenty material to make fun of him for from this thread alone.
The posting history being readily accessible isn't a justification. There are many embarrassing things that are publicly available, but it's not an invitation to start plastering it on billboards everywhere. This last point is an exaggeration, of course, but it gets the idea across.

I would feel sorry for this fellow if he hadn't dug his own grave so thoroughly.
Though, it does annoy me that he hasn't shown up since the OP. Hmmm... I wonder if I can use modh4x to make him notice, by subscribing him to this thread. I want to give him a fighting chance (even though my my own standards, this IS a fighting chance already), and since I just finished reading his fic to summarize it, I would also like to be a nerd and give him some writing tips.
EDIT: I can indeed subscribe him to this thread, but I'm starting to think it would be unethical of me to do so. >_> I'll wait and see what Letty thinks.
