Very much so! New SMT and FE Warriors was quite unexpected.

Also nice: Disgaea 5 is apparently coming to the Switch. Not so nice: I pretty much beat the game already. ^^;; Maybe it'll have some extra content to make up for it?

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Splat2n are also pretty hype.

I'm hype for a lot of the benefits and some new games but the price point would utterly destroy me (400 CAD) and the launch lineup is pretty bad

This is gonna be worth thinking about in 2018, maybe.  I doubt most of those games come out this year, and I already have a wii u for zelda.

Is Splatoon 2 a launch title? If it is, BRB selling Wii U. If not, I can probably wait.

Nope. It will be released around summer they say.

Indeed.

A Switch purchase is an inevitability for me, but I just don't have any reason to pick one up at launch - already have a Wii U for Zelda, and I doubt FE Musou and Xenoblade 2 are coming out anytime soon.  That new Mario game looks great though.

I'm interested in Switch and I'll buy one, eventually.
Kinda disappointed about online play not being free. I know about Sony and Microsoft, just I never expected Nintendo to do it. Even if their online services aren't the best are least they are free.

Honestly I don't get why someone should pay for this. I already payed for the hardware, the software and my ISP. Why I should pay more.
Meh. Anyway I know not all games will require payment, but still sucks, somewhat.

Overall still pretty hyped about Switch, especially after I decided to not buy WiiU (that Mario Kart looks awesome).
