Hello all!
From the day I found out about danmakufu, I've been working on a phantasm stage. Today, I succeeded. And guess what, I beat Mokou for the first time today, too!
you babies wanted it to be easier so its easier now.
so after some tweaking and replacing, i made it easier.

The story is about two weak youkai being zapped into space by a certain time-manipulating maid. This maid also zapped a planet from afar in front of the sun. Our hero, Rumia the youkai of darkness, heads out to investigate who the culprit is but is slowed down by the many fairies that were taken with her. Eventually, she finds Cirno, everyone's favourite math teacher, who appears to be able to say full sentences with correct grammar. She explains the planet is there to create complete darkness on earth. Angered and afraid that earth's inhabitants will all decease, she heads out to learn the scarlets a lesson but Cirno wisely advises Rumia to stop, because the scarlet crowd is empowered by the moon whose light is the purest on this day of the year. Rumia, however, is a wise and powercul commando youkai who has been trained for covert ops so she refuses to stop. What will she do? You decide.

How to install:
put FlanChan in your scripts dir, and Rumia2 in your player dir.
Open danmakufu and select "phantasm stage"

Special things to notice:
All spells and plural files can be practiced as well.
There's a few extra cards that didn't make it to the stage, too.
Rumia has a new unfocused bomb.
Rumia can place C4 bombs and throw TNT! all you have to do is press c. the counter in the lower left corner shows if you can throw an explosive. You only can, if you have 100% C4 power.
After Cirno is beaten, you can choose to eat her or not to. Choose wisely. If you try to eat her, she will cast her strongest spell ever.
This stage contains:
13 normal spells
2 survival spells
12 nonspells
4 last spells

This shit's intense, man.

1. Needs difficulties. Holy shit needs difficulties. As in easier ones. People will cry.
2. Needs more than one shot type.
3. Enemies need less health (the standard fairies)
4. Holy fucking shiiiiiiitttt
5. Here's the only error message I've encountered thus far (EDIT: After a quick second playthrough, I've discovered this message only comes up if you choose to eat Cirno):

Holy crap I hit 199999999999999999 (or so) points and the the final spell gave me NEGATIVE points. Best final spell ever btw.


And yes, I swapped Rumia for GODRUMIA v3. This is simply way too hard for me to really do anything else :V

... This is a JOKE, right?! You DID mean this to be unbeatable, right?! HOWTHEHOLYHELLCANANYONEBEATTHAT!? Apart from if it's Naut, of course. And damn you, almost beat me to the entire-SDM-against-the-player. I'm gonna have to work really hard to finish mine off 'fore someone else does it.

Aside from the way-too-hard-for-me-to-use-anything-else-than-noobin-mah-way-throught-with-the-I-key, absolutely AMAZING! I concur with Naut, moar less difficult levels. If I enjoyed it that much just watching, how much better's it gonna be if I can actually play it?! Way beyond my caliber, this script is.

The TLevitate task is declared inside of @Initialize. Putting it outside of @Initialize fixes the script.

And uh, difficulties and such. Though I almost topped two continues last run (fffffff), I still think most people can't even fathom this carnage.

And fuck me I hate Rumia's hitbox location, it's so off-center... Vertically.

though you can always bomb through their 2 nonspells in the beginning.
would you rate this harder than lunatic?

also, if you read the end convo, you would see why rumia isn't a commando anymore.

many things in the stage are gimmicks. things like the death fairy before cirno, those laser familiars, and the butterfly wall shooting fairies.

Flan's cards are the big problem, which are immune to bombs... Of course.

Well sir, there is a hierarchy of difficulties regarding Touhou-style danmaku/shmup games. In order from easiest to hardest, the list goes something like this:

Updated. everything is a bit toned down now. all spells have comments from the creator. Rumia's unfocused shot covers a wider area of the screen. Rumia's normal bombs have all been replaced. Bugs have been fixed. I'm wondering if giving 1 extra life for every spell would be okay now?

EDIT: i think it's Naut difficulty now.

I is somewhere around Normal + Hard mode. So FlanChan with I is like comparing an ant to an elephant.

GAME BREAKING GLITCH FOUND!

This glitch makes the entire stage super-easy.

If you bomb, you can shoot lasers. But if you start shooting, so that the lasers are still there when the card ends, the lasers stay, suck in all the bullets they touch and even deal damage! With the exception of Grungir and the duck card at the end, you just can stand in one place doing absolutely nothing.

Finally got around to test this. So yeah...

The script is made of 20% awesome, 20% memes, 20% wtf and 40% liquid rape.

I don't know anything to add that hasn't been said already without going into detail, but for me to do that, the script is just too friggin' long.   :P

Though, I could use a bit faster Rumia with a little more visible hitbox.

Other than that, it's almost perfect, unless you are looking for something more possible :P

Hahaha oh man that final last spell cracked me up with all the quacking going on. ;D

And most of those attacks make VoWG Lunatic look like cake. :V I failed pretty much everything miserably but it was still fun; I liked how everything stayed fair despite being totally batshit insane. Lots of the concepts are kickass; In The Eye Of Destruction is particularly awesome, IMO. And yeah, a faster Rumia would be nice. Also, I encountered the game-breaking bug by accident on my first attempt, which was...interesting. Other than that, awesome all around. I doubt I'll ever manage to 1cc it, but hey. :D

I can now clear this with only 4 continues! :V

Of course after the second continue I really wasn't trying. Flan is still really annoying because most of the time I'm doing nothing but sitting there waiting for Rumia's bomb to end and it gets kinda boring after a while.

Stage is great now and the first few fights aren't too much of a problem but Flan is still frustrating :/

Rumia's C4 is still kinda useless though. She needs to be able to throw it or something because the only way to plant it on the boss is to do it between spells, but then it explodes during invicibility frames D:

Rumia's bomb is too long IMO, as you will bombspam through most spells....face it, the constant backshots are still nearly impossible to capture :V

profound danmaku bounded field requires you to practice. so does this stage.
the c4 can be thrown if you press c while UNfocused.
anyways, im gonna try to change some things here and there.
if you do manage to plant a bomb on the boss, she's pretty much screwed.
try to do it during the first convo between rumia and that double nonspell.

backshots are the concept of this stage. ahiru-sama is a normal pattern that requires you to have reflexes and actually think instead of panic dodging ZUN makes you grow up with.
that giant black hole card, though, is a different story. BOMB SPAM ZE if you cant dodge that crap. no other solution.

I was playing this, it was freakishly awesome, I was laughing my ass off...

And then I ran out of continues. I didn't think this script set a limit on how many continues you could use, but if this limitation is intentional, I'd like for it to be removed in your next release.

Edit: though it doesn't seem to matter so much for me personally, since it seems I can beat it within the allotted number of continues. Now I just want to be able to face that awesome spell at the end without having to play through the whole thing, lol.

I've decided to try this for the first time and I keep getting error messages about #include Japanese text here H:\file path shotreplace.dnh. Every time I get to a boss I get t hat error message and the boss blows up pretty much.

Figured it out, you're completely missing the shot replace file in your latest version, I had to snag it from Jaimer's link.
