Title: Intro + Art
Post by: duoduo66 on November 03, 2014, 04:21:41 AM
So I guess I'll introduce myself here. You can call me Duo. I got into Touhou relatively recently, a bit more than half a year ago. While I do play the games, I focus more on drawing things. I've got lots of mediocre products, but here's some of my better stuff.

This one was drawn just yesterday, I experimented with cel shading a bit. Quickly found out it's probably not what I should be focusing on though, it took way longer than it should have.

I made this two months ago, you might be able to see the reference.

I whipped this up to accompany a music arrangement I worked on, I'll share that sometime later.

I'm also an avid fan of Team Fortress 2. I worked on this one for a decent amount of time.

My other works can be found here (https://duoduo66.deviantart.com).

I joined these forums for a few reasons. One is to get to know more people, as many people do. Another is to talk to others with common interests and hobbies, namely drawing; feedback is completely welcome, and I'll be glad to help others improve as well.

Hopefully I'll stay around and have a great time with you all! :)

Well welcome aboard the trAAAin!
I see that you were experimenting with a paint-y feel for the Sukuna one, but she looks a bit lonely and unsure there
Feel free to share your music thing too

Heyo!
That's a start there. Both bodies and faces are a bit wobbly, but just keep on working. Have some neat tips: http://imgur.com/a/tfgow?gallery (http://imgur.com/a/tfgow?gallery)

Welcome to AAA!

There's definitely a bit of an entertaining vibe in these pictures, as well as Sukuna definitely expressing your incentive to experiment with other methodologies. That's good to see.

Quick tip from me: I think the head-neck composition relative to the rest of the body tends to look a bit odd, especially with Satori (body seems petit in comparison) and Wriggle (head isn't properly attached to neck; make the former a bit smaller maybe?).

Thanks =3

And others told me similar things too, I'll just hafta keep working on it.
