but I went back to Hong Kong and visit Japan this summer attending to doujin conventions!
went to akihabara for the second time and attend to the world largest doujin convention the Comic Market 82

Hong Kong's Anime conventions are really amazing, since I grew up in HK I've been to every single one since 2004. Sadly though, I missed out on this year's because of Uni (UGH!).
I went to Akihabara 3 years ago, notable highlights include the game arcades, maid cafes, street cos-plays, the animate building, and how parents got cross when I ended up spending all my money on manga and figurines (totally worth it). I am not done with Tokyo though, my life isn't complete if I don't experience Comiket and Reitaisai at least once...

What do you use to do lineart, and do you have any tips? :3c For me I use SAI and its stabilizer but the lines are still not as good as yours...

I prefer just drawing the line by hand than using a vector
or else there wouldn't be a point buying our tablet right <OwO >/
as for the canvas size i usually keep it as 300 dpi for CG

I think it has to do with the lighting. It doesn't feel natural, like everyone glowing slightly in the front when they're outdoors at night and all the main light sources are coming from behind

Yeah I notice that,
but since it's for a CD cover I thought I would have two lighting in the face and from the back to make the character more resemble
more like there is a spot light in front of them
but I guess the price of doing that is now it look a bit unnatural

and the result looks pretty interest compare to the original LF2 style of my own modified character

Oh boy.
Little Fighter certainly played a huge part in my childhood. I remember 13 years ago when I got my hands on the game the first time, Little Fighter was still in it's very initial phase of development (Screenshot! (http://lf2.net/lf1_pic/9.gif)). The game itself was nothing revolutionary, graphics were decent, but weren't outstanding when compared to other games in the same era. But this ordinary fighting game happened the most discussed topic among my classmates and people in my age group, and I quickly became addicted to it. The trend carried on to Little Fighter 2 when it came out a couple of years later, except it became a much bigger deal in my school. The new game introduced major graphical improvements and co-operative mode. And thanks to network play, we were able to play with our classmates at home through the internet.
I had my fair share of modding experience with LF2 as well, but it didn't happen much later on when I advanced into secondary school. I loved the idea that changing numbers around gives me control over how a character behaves. It gave me the freedom to customize the characters and alter their move-sets, which was something I always wanted to do. I started to participate in modding communities as well. Met with some cool people and worked on some collaborated projects.

must for the alice pic I use normal brush in photoshop with a 30-80% of opacity
I usually use that setting for underpainting to figure out the light and dark
