If you're a physic telekinesis girl like me, number 5 should really help.  ::)
Here we go.  :]
1.   Dig a huge hole in backyard. Place a cherry and a leaf in it. At night, a character like Chen, Lunasa, Lyrica, Merlin, Lily White, Lily Black, Yuyuko or Ran will eat the cherry and put a note in its place, showing directions to Gensokyo. Go in this hole at exactly 8:00 the next night, and follow the note's directions. You're there!
2.   Say this spell in front of a create.swf character:
      ?_______________, ____________________, come to life, show me around your       
       hometown, __________________, tell me what it?s like, in your hometown.?
3.   Think to yourself, ?Gensokyo is real ? I can go there anytime I want to.? The more you say that to yourself, the more real it?ll be.
4.   When you get to a location in a Touhou game, shout its name out loud. You?ll be there at a random time.
5.   If you have telekinesis, stare at an image of a Touhou character and whisper its name over and over again. It?ll soon come to life.
6.   Close your eyes and imagine you?re in Gensokyo. This always works for non-telekinesis people.

7. Buy GPS, input search term "Gensokyo", follow directions.
8. Go to McDonald's, find door that says "Employees Only", scratch that out and write "Gensokyo" underneath it, open door into Gensokyo.
9. Buy 100 pounds of potatoes, peel and boil them, form mashed potatoes into a statue of Sonic the Hedgehog, take a photo of it, send it to ZUN, promise ZUN you will send him the potato statue if he puts you in the next Touhou game.

18. I thought about something... What if you die and turn up in the Netherworld? I don't know how exactly a Ghost/Spirit works, but maybe there is a way from there to Gensokyo, because the barrier between both worlds is still weakened.

19. Move to Japan. I guess that the chance to accidentally get to Gensokyo is higher if you're near the barrier. Also, there is the chance that Gensokyo could be somewhere near the Mount Yatsugatake/Yatsugatake Mountains, because the Youkai Mountain is the original appearance of that mountain. (read the 4th chapter of CiRL for more information.)
19.a (SaBND spoiler)

At the end of the manga a tree got destroyed by a lightning bolt. Shortly after Reimu and Marisa started to worship it, causing a god started to exist in that tree,  but forgot about it in almost no time and the god ceased to exist. That caused to create a small hole in the barrier that was filled with a tree from the Outside World. According to Yukaris words it can be assumed that the small hole was caused by forgetting that god. So, even if it's very cruel, it could work to do the same near Mount Yatsugatake...

20. Being totally (or almost) forgotten by the world. Move to a different country and live a isolated life.

21. Somehow learn to use magic and go to Gensokyo by your own power.

When Yukari finds you, say that you're Chen and you accidentally fell into a gap. When Yukari opens the gap to Gensokyo, RUN FOR YOUR FREAKIN LIFE BECAUSE YUKARI WILL KILL YOU FOR LYING.

Pull a Kanako: wait until the sixty year cycle occurs, then walk through a hole in the barrier.
Found a city. Build it up to one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world, with emphasis on astrology and space travel. Name a park in the city Gensokyo. Walk there. Done!
Become a youkai (most efficient way is to sit in a field of poison flowers for one hundred years, obvs) and say the secret password at the outside world's hakurei shrine.
Develop ESP ability to jump into people's dreams. Find Maribel. Wait until she goes to sleep. Silently move up to her. Steal her clothes and dress up as her, run to the hakurei shrine with some fried tofu, convince Ran to let you in.
Room with up to five youkai buddies, making sure there is a slightly blurry heirarchy of authority or power (with the highest in power but not authority being your little sister), say the secret Yukari-alert signal (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4CV5UgInnzQ). Protip: live in a nice mansion and make sure at least one of your posee has interesting theme powers.

Roll a wizard. Get to level 30. Cast greater planar travel to get to Gensokyo's realm, then use epic teleport to get into Gensokyo proper.
The rest of your spell slots should be filled with prismatic spray.

Acquire GPS. Autowalk until GPS reads in imaginary numbers.

Use the second magic or the wishing chair.

Choose Apollo as a second-tier worship option, and use the underworld passage god power at an arbitrary location. Instead of travelling to the other passage, redirect from erebus to the former hell, and go up to Gensokyo.
Protip: worship Hermes as a first-tier god, and use ceasefire to avoid the underground youkai.

How do you go to Gensokyo? Why, there are lots of ways to go to Gensokyo. Pick any of the following methods as you please :)

65. Try eating 9 of those 99% cacao chocolate ice creams all at once. An angry Cirno will smash through the Hakurei border and make a interdimensional gap near you. Make sure you jump through the gap as quickly as possible, otherwise i) the gap will close, and ii) you'll be reduced to nothing but a bunch of ice cubes on the floor if you don't jump into the gap while it's open.


66. Fire an onbashira into the air with some powerful cannon while you're standing on it. Make sure you don't fall off of the onbashira! You'll be able to land in Gensokyo.


67. Skydive from a plane without any parachute. Throw some fried tofu around in the air and pray for help to Yukari. If you're lucky, she'll gap you into Gensokyo!


68. Scream out "I do believe in fairies! I do! I do!" in all Shinto Shrines.


69. Hijack a subway train and reach the speed of light. Lol Yukari.


70. Play human Touhou on a bicycle in a crowded street and graze 9999 people. Bonus points for stealing point items from them like Marisa.


71. Feign an automobile malfunctioning and call 1-800-555-KAPPA. This part needs some patience because 99.9% of all the time, you'll get a response that the line is busy at the moment. Upon managing to call the phone operator, make sure to describe your automobile malfunctioning in the clearest and most brief way possible because you'll be charged $103 per second of the call. Needless to say, your call will be monitored through recording your voice and, to some extent, videotaping your face! After they accept your distress call, an armored Kappa will arrive on Nitori's custom-made vacuum machine. As soon as the kappa becomes busy with your car, ride on the vacuum machine and FLY THE F**K AWAY FROM THE KAPPA because as soon as she realizes her vacuum machine has been stolen, she'll fire all sorts of heavy weaponry at you! I dreamt that Reimu and Sanae went to Hogwarts for some time, then Reimu got locked in a tower and Sanae went to save her. But then Voldemort turned into the Black Beast and Reimu and Sanae had to stop him with their Build-a-Bear Workshop teddies. Dream this for a long time, then you'll go to Gensokyo.  :o

9 and 3/4: Go to Tokyo station and jump headfirst into the 9th pillar at a Shinkansen platform. Welcome to Yukari's subway line bound for the closest soku battle going on!

9999.99: Obtain a tesseract and activate it at the middle of Tokyo big sights. A portal into Gensokyo will open in the air. Good luck on figuring out a way in though :derp: :derp:

2. (Yukari way) Scream "I believe in fairies! I do, I do! Magic is real!" in the woods. When you go back home, you'll see some glowing eyes in the trees. Go to sleep, and Yukari will take you to Gensokyo through her gap.
(Byakuren way) Basically the same as the Yukari way, but instead you pray (with your eyes closed) at a statue of God, Jesus, Mary, etc. in front of a church, while saying "In the name of Byakuren, I will release you.". Then as you go home, you'll see eyes in the woods (along with laughter). Go to sleep, and Yukari and Byakuren will take you to Gensokyo.

1) Rename your Farmville farm/Sim City city accordingly. Project onto a large blank space and zoom in.
2) Write a self-insert fanfic where you're transported to Gensokyo. Bonus points for creativity of transportation.
3) Play a drinking game where you watch out for any other poor souls trying the above. You'll find yourself in Gensokyo in no time.
4) Buy a small island. Live there in complete solitude, with no contact with the outside world, until the hallucinations start appearing.
5) Try to slip past the Hakurei Barrier via trial and error. Enter as many Borders as possible.*
*Difficult since the bankruptcy.
6) Get a library card and locate the Pagemaster or the Magic Tree House.

Hey, I made a self-insert fanfic where I'm transported to Gensokyo.

Here it is:
Watching the Barrier

It is 3:00 am. I have suddenly woken up when dreaming about Touhou. I hear a noise. The sound is coming from the living room. I sneak downstairs. That?s when it happens. I see Yukari. I can?t believe my eyes. Yukari tells me, ?Come with me! You?ll like it!? I respond ?Yes.? Then, a few seconds later, sunlight streams through a city lined with cherry trees. A brown house stands in the corner of my eye. Then, I see Reimu. She tells me that I had crossed the Hakurei Barrier. Now, I see some cherry blossoms sprouting. Me and Reimu run through the city?s path of cherry trees. The golden sunshine lights the path with sparkling shadows. The sky reflects the clouds with daylight. I see the Forest of Magic, lining with rainbows. The Hakurei Barrier is far away. The sunlight blocks it. Alice greets me. ?Hello!? she says. I greet her back. Marisa smiles and says hi. I say hello back. ?Well, my visit is short. It?s time for me to go. Bye!? ?YAMUKO, GYATE GYATE!? I yell. Soon, I?m back home. It?s 5:57. I go back to my room, and wait for the sun to rise. 3 minutes later, the sun rises. The sunshine reflects on my room, and it reminds me of the way it did in Gensokyo.

lol we have gathered at least a hundred ways of going into Gensokyo and we're still using the title of only 6 ways?

π: Get a bunch of suikas and watch them multiply exponentially.

R: Learn how to eat spirits and keep eating them until you enter trance mode. You'll enjoy approximately 5 seconds of Gensokyo and then be transported back to the real world.

e: Call Yukari's cell phone. Chances are that she'll not pick it up though :(

O.  Get cast into Oblivion.  Find your way out, and hope you exit into Gensokyo.  The Space Core may help you for the first part.

A.  Roam the major Japanese shopping areas in winter and look for a blonde woman that, for some untangible reason, just seems... not right.  It might be Yukari.  Get in her good graces.  (Though good luck with that.)

Buy a book about demonology and summon a demon. Give your little brother to it, so it helps you.
(If you don't have one, go to the next orphanage and take the child that annoys you the most in three minutes. )
Then, ask the demon to bring you to Makai, from where you probably find a way to Gensokyo.

Become the ultimate masochist. Tenshi will come by sooner or later in order to learn from you. Have her bring you to Gensokyo in exchange.
Alternatively, do the same as a sadist. Yuuka will have you abducted and try to kill you to get to the top again. Run away at the right time, or impress her so much she spares you (Not recommended).

Make a giant paper gap and place it on a carpeted surface.  Hold onto any Touhou memorabilia, focus on getting to Gensokyo, and jump into the now active gap.  It'll drop you off somewhere random in Gensokyo, mattering how Yukari feels at the time.

If you want to get to Gensokyo, here's a good way how!

What you need:
- A cucumber
- A document of scientific knowledge, a.k.a. a folder with something simple like H2O = water or the like
- A wrench if document is not attainable
- A lake

What to do:
1) First, if you want to use a document, write, in permanent marker, "SCIENCE STUFF INSIDE" and laminate.
2) Tie document or wrench to cucumber.
3) Throw cucumber + wrench into lake.
4) Wait about four days to two years for Nitori to appear.
5) When she tries to escape, grab her backpack to ride like a turtle to the gap to Gensokyo.
6) When you are in the gap, do not scream. If Nitori developed a transporter, steal it from behind her.

Tips:
- If caught, Nitori will escape and you will have to try a different lake.
- Repels will never work because odd transporting laws cause Nitori's level to drop to level 0.5 or so.
- If you anger Nitori, then RUN. RUN AND NEVER LOOK BACK. DON'T STARE INTO THAT CANNON, JUST RUN.

Find a lake and pour blood into it. Dive in and swim (or sink) until you reach a place you can breath under it. You are now underneath the Lake of Blood. Swim back up and you'll be in Gensokyo. Or, if swimming isn't your thing, live with Yuuka in her mansion for the rest of your life. But if you think that's a bad idea, find a way to make her take you to the surface, like telling her there's a newly grown sunflower field at (this place) and slip away before she kills you for your lie.
