Black Gel of Akasha ~ Kuro-PuurinKuro-Puurin: An odd construct of Black Gel that has taken on the shape of a young woman. The Black Gel originally was apart of the root of all things, The Primordial Soup of Akasha (or Akashic Pool), which came into existance through MuMu (The Goddess of All) at the beginning of the universe's creation. However, billions of years after the Pool's creation, a seperate Gel budded off from the Akashic Soup and fell to earth, beginning it's 'life' of it's own as an independent entity. The Black Gel originally had no human form, however the slime began to mutate and consume matter over time, growing and shaping itself into the entity that Kuro-Puurin has taken on now. Kuro-Puurin, as she's come to be called by humans, exists only to expand herself, and her power, by consuming all things and making them one with her every expanding mass. Kuro-Puurin, while long living and holding an extensive memory of the Earth's prehistory, is actually rather simple minded and acts purely on her instinct to devour and grow. The Black liquid that makes up her body is rather harmful to the body of other living beings and once exposed to it in large numbers, begins to dissolve cells and tissure. Over time, the victim will be nothing more than a puddle of gore, having been dissolved alive from the gel's corrosive properties.
Kuro-Puurin is one of the most powerful Amorphs ever to come into existance, this is not because she is a direct spawn of the Akashic Pool, but because she has consumed so many demons and entities whoes power has been absorbed into Kuro-Puurin's very being and has since fueled an constantly expanding well of power. For this reason alone, Kuro-Puurin was able to contend with the Gods and has even consumed a few Lesser variants, however before the Black Gel could devour the more powerful gods of Takahamagara; an army of Monks, Priests and Mikos cornered and sealed her away within the deepest wells within the Hall of Ptolemea. Centuries later, the seal began to inevitably weaken and, as a result, Kuro-Puurin's body managed to break the first seal and has since completely flooded the deepest floors of the hall, submerging them into a varidable ocean of black slime called "Umi no Kuro-Puurin" or "The Ocean of Black Pudding".
Even though Kuro-Puurin has broken her seal, the Black Gel still cannot leave the Hall of Ptolemea. The tomb is Kuro-Puurin's only source of Mana that can sustain her life, this is due to the second seal placed upon the tomb; a Sealing Keystone that was placed at the center of the tomb by a powerful Shrine Maiden. The Keystone works by keeping Mana inside the tomb and thus keeps Kuro-Puurin alive, but also keeps her anchored at this location because she cannot survive outside the tomb with such an immense form (there just isn't enough Mana to fuel it), the fact that the surrounding area is a vast desert only works in the seals favor. In the present day, there is much concern over the Black Gel,
A team of scientists have attempted to sample a piece of the Black Gel, but all have disappeared into that very ocean of blackness, never to be seen again. Since it is known that Kuro-Puurin can act on her own will even witht he Keystone seal in place, It is strictly forbidden to enter the Hall of Ptolemea, simply because Kuro-Puurin will hunt down and drag any living things down into the Umi no Kuro-Puurin and drown them in the black sea. Even now...the Umi no Kuro-Puurin is steadily rising to higher levels of the tomb. No one knows what will happen if the Black Gel manages to touch the Keystone...
