Well, I can't say you didn't try and keep it going to a good end.

Even twain revised his work. Hopefully. Or should've.

Touhou Nekokayou #97: Touhou Saisoutensoku #4: Huntress Dreams

Once, Arthur C. Clarke pretty much completely rewrote his novel Against The Fall of Night as The City and the Stars. This caused a little bit of confusion later on when a guy and his psychiatrist started talking about the version they personally had read, neither realizing about the other ...

Even having an idea of what's going on still doesn't make your interpretation of Rin any less of a headache. Which I suppose was the point, so feel free consider it a success.

Also, ever since the "original" I've been anticipating the Komeji sisters' reactions to Okuu's new girlfriend. I was not disappointed, especially with poor Satori's.

If it helps, she's obviously giving Reimu just as much of a headache. |3

I suddenly love Reimu's reactions to Rin's vague answers.

I must use these next time someone doesn't vomit up a coherent answer, and I will make sure to come here and thank you for the material when it happens.

Hmmm.. I hadn't noticed yet Cirno's wings had changed in Hisoutensoku. After comparing Cirno's Hisoutensoku image with her EoSD and PoFV pics I now see a slight difference, yes. (Old Cirno had only six floating shards, new Cirno has ten-or-so connected shards/two big masses of spiky ice.)

Glad this comic lightened everything up a bit. Does this however mean that Cirno is truly the strongest now?

Well, look at it this way:

  • In Hisoutensoku, it is Cirno's silhouette on the front of the CD case.
  • The silhouette-on-the-CD-case is generally reserved in the Windows games for the last boss (or, in some earlier cases, the EX-boss).

So she's at least as "STRONGEST!" as she was in Hisoutensoku ... ;)

* Randall Flagg reads through the entire comic in one night and crashes to the floor

I... approve. I've glanced on various parts before, but I never actually went about reading the thing in its entirety until now. Good stuff.

Head...hurts...again....

Why wouldn't Meimu care if she won or not? She wants to become Gensokyo's hero, right? Then she has to win! If she fails she won't appear as an incident solver! And why the Hisoutensoku trio? They don't cause incidents at all! And if she wants to look like a hero, why fight in a dimension of with absolutely no spectators? This confuses me so much...

And Meiling did win once against Reimu in Nekokayou, didn't she? So Meimu and herself should give her some more credit.

Meimu's trying to be the villain in this case, trying to play the "Defeat Means Friendship" card. She's going after Sanae, Cirno, and Meiling because they're the "heroines" who treated Hisou Tensoku's appearance as an Incident.

As for Meiling's "victory" against Reimu, that was actually Sakuya's doing.

But Meiling didn't know that, right? She thought she beat Reimu all by herself, oblivious of Sakuya's strike.

Or did Sakuya tell Meiling the truth afterwards?

Presumably she did tell her, yeah.

Also, I decided to put some actual "art" and other creations! (Mostly made with create.swf)

This is one pixel over the 640x480 limit! (hint: she has a knife in one hand, and a pocketwatch of blood in the other hand)

This is not! It's a screenshot from if Touhou Saisoutensoku was a game, in Arcade Mode. ;3

Actually, I inserted that myself. KirbyM added a version at my request, but it's not as comically large.

Oh yeah, also, that one's on Pixiv now.

EDIT: And so's the other one.

Kinda late writing a reply, but oh well. 3 quick notes.

1) The new format is indeed working in your favor. It's slightly clearer what's going on this go around (especially thanks to Rin's graphs). I laughed hard at
Spoiler:
"You don't care about me at all, do you?!"
; it was quite  possibly the best stuck-up child line you could've put there.

2) Beautiful song. I will steal your ability to compose music one day!

3) Wow. You have created quite possibly the first Yukkuri that I actually like.  :yukkuri:
